Yeah feck it let's be positive for a change. Sun is shining it's Friday and we've spent 50m on 2 players!!!!

Let's av' it!

I still think we should have just spent as much as possible on a decent striker.

Cant get too excited without that happening.

We are only going for top 4 and not to win the league.

Sorry how does that work? We've just spent 100m? You might not like our new signings but you can't fault the club for finally spending some dosh

Xhaka and Mustafi both improve your team dont know why some of you Arsenal fans are always moaning, would you feel better if they cost £60m each?

Once again we have got absolutely mugged because of Wenger's dithering. Neither of these players are world class. (yes I know Mustafi plays for Germany) .

We had the chance to buy Perez in July and turned it down because he was deemed not good enough by our scouts, who watched him on several occasions.

We probably could have got them both for £35 Million (total) at the beginning of the transfer window. Instead we're paying last minute dithering tax of £17m. For a student of economics Wenger knows nothing about how to get a good deal.

Finding it hard to get excited about these two average
players and Asano who can't even play due to work permit issues . Holding looks like a decent buy. Would have preferred lumping it all on Griezmann or Higuain or PEA.

Forgot to mention Xhaka...He looks very average to me and cost more than Kante who looks a much better player.

Xhaka and mustafi will improve our team. As should Perez as we will have a proper alternative to Giroud. Perez isn't going to be world class, and thats whats still holding us back to be a real challenger. But its good news!

We should have got this sorted much sooner. But at least its looking like its done now.

Everyone is terrible

Everyone is terrible, everything sucks, you all smell, Wenger smells the worse. Boo to him and his smelling.

Mustafi looks so similar to Koss...It worries me that it might turn out to be another partnership nightmare. Other than that lets make it happen!!

How many genuine world class CB's are there though? Hummels? (arguable), Boateng? Ramos? Godin? T. Silva? None of them would move to us.

Mustafi is overpriced, but is what we need, and who isn't overpriced these days in a market where Bolasie and Benteke are going for a combined £57mil?

Anything reason to complain welcome.

I'll drink to that.

I am not overly excited but knowing our club policy and Wenger's ideology I have come to conclusion that we won't be signing any world class readymade players (likes of PEA, Higuin, Aguero) in near future.

So being practical, I am happy with these 2 signings. I will take a word and stats for Mustafi and will hope that he does well.

Although Perez is not 'world class' proven striker but he will def offer alternative to Giroud's style. He seems better than Welback imho. If utilized cleverly, I am optimistic that he will score 15 goals this season.

Fingers crossed.

I hope Perez is a step up on Chamakh and Sanogo. At lease his name is appealing reminds me of Bobby boy, if only.

Also, Holding does look promising. I hope he turns out to be next Tony Adam sort of player.

We need all the bodies we can get, to cope with our woeful injury record. We can't afford to bet all our cash on one player's hamstrings.

We look pretty solid at CB now

Yeah Perez looks like he won't replace Giroud but if we can get goals from Walcott, Sanchez, and Perez we might be ok.

Will still get d*cked in the CL against anyone half decent and will probably get top 3

I think we still should sign Draxler. That would be very handy especially knowing Walcott is going to be avg. and Ox can break down any minute. We need a good Winger/forward player.

I loved seeing him constantly outjump all the Leicester lumps despite being only 6 foot 2.

Defence is now good, with Mustafi.

MF strong and lots of depth.

Perez is a CF only so Wenger wont play him on the wings like he loves to do. He is a proper striker, quick and agile. With the quality in MF feeding him he should do well.

I am fairly pleased now.

Is 'Oceanic' typical of their work? 15 mins in now. It's pretty hard going if I'm honest.

Yup..no wonder Chamber has fallen down in pecking order to Holding after only 2 competitive and couple of friendly games.

I won't count my chickens yet but I do think he is going to be a solid English CB. Touchwood....
