King is class. MOTM in waiting if he starts.
In all seriousness, I'm not sure there's a viable alternative?
N'Zonzi?
I'm warming up for a full on King assault on tomorrow's match thread
Naturally I've written him off already
Taking my folks tomorrow. I'll get their official view on King....
On another note the Derby fans want Pearson out already......it's not going well over there apparently
......give him time I say. But he won't get it
They (Derby) put three substitutes on early in order to try and change things. I watched the match and they found it difficult to get through the Burton defensive line.
Big Nigel is not happy but I hope he turns things around.
One of the Derby fans on tonight's match thread - "Mr Pearson, what have you done to our club?"
What I don't understand is why he's taking what was a very fluid attacking team who played attractive football and putting them in a 4-4-2. They looked awful tonight. One goal scored in 5 matches?!
That team is full of the biggest bottle jobs in football. I think they need to give Pearson time and money to build a team. Probably wont get it though.
for a club with the worst record in the premier leauge to moan about a manager in a handfull of games whose record at city was exceptional is a joke .dopey club , dopey fans
Agree in one sense but Derby aren't the shambles Leicester were when Pearson came back the second time. That's a club that's one of the favourites to go up with some very good players
They have gone from playing an attractive attacking style of football to playing 4-4-2 and not being able to create a single chance tonight. Honestly they were garbage
Pearson should turn it around but the confusing thing is - they weren't a club playing badly under the last manager. It surely only needs a gentle tweak and a couple of additions to get them promoted?
If you remember it was actually Burton who beat us a while back and Pearson used that as a catalyst to start ditching dead wood
Don't care about Dirby and even less about Pearson. He should of signed Moore or inquired about King but i bet his pride would not let him.
As for King Tomorrow no worries i predict it won't be his toughest game
I expect us to be about up to full speed now, will be an interesting game.

Good point - although how much dead wood can there be? They've been top 6-7 for the last few seasons, that's my point. He's not taking over Leicester circa 2011 who were a mess. They've invested in good players - whereas he had beckford, mills and John pantsil when he came to us
He will sort it I'm sure but im just surprised because I expected him to pick up where previous managers had left off and that Derby would be in the automatics. Perhaps they still will but it's the style of football and way they are playing that's so concerning.
There goes the fun thread then! Lol

Who's it going to be today then instead?
King was rubbish. Made no impact on that game whatsoever.
Useless.

Not totally true, he warmed up in front of us, I had a little chuckle to myself so did at least make some impression.
