He had talent. But the drive is gone. We've seen the same with some Brazilians.

He hasn't got limited talent. He's got all the talent in the world.

The evidence suggests otherwise. Players who have the odd good game, along with a stinking attitude, tend to get labelled flawed geniuses by many.

Agree with Greatteams.
He scored 27 in his first 60 appearances for Man City despite being in and out of the team.
The lad has loads of talent, just none of the required desire. He's a man child.
Why would he let that happen? I mean, dont you want to be the best out there, a hero to young kids all over the world. Everyone doing one over you. Winning prizes with the biggest teams. Play football in massive stadiums for 100s of thousands of fans. Why give that all up? Because you got a few million quit in the bank? Wont last forever either if you stop too soon. He has no legacy so the money flow will stop very quickly. He has no established brand. I dont get it. I mean money is very nice to have, but dont you want fame and get paid to do what you love until you're 35 and have a massive legacy for the rest of your life. Like Ronaldo, Messi, Cruyff, Maradona, Pele, etc
It's an interesting subject on talent, is it something that is always there? Or is it something that shrinks the less it's nurtured? The old saying of genius being one percent inspiration and 99% perspiration is very true IMO.
Mario does have a decent if not spectacular strike rate but they are all top clubs who were able to put good players around him usually at their own expense. I wouldn't dispute he has talent just not as much that many give him credit for.
It's not enough to say you have talent becuase if you end up achieving very little the doubts will remain. It will be interesting to see how he gets on if he moves to Niece, can he carry that team with his talent? Maybe he will prove me wrong.

You dont play and score one in 3 for inter, AC and Italy without any talent. To suggest he didn't have any is just stupid. He has loads of talent but his drive has gone. Too much too soon after having nothing growing up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe the wrong moves at the wrong time, but with the money that was thrown at him.....can you blame him?
Shame to see him leave the league again, he is a very good player and he has a personality/something different that makes him more interesting than say......Gareth Barry!
Looked on course to become a top player a few years back. I reckon he'll end up in China soon and never be heard of again.

Mario's head is not on the game. I saw this when I lived in Manchester. He is obsessed with bagging women and does so all the time. Fair play if you are a pop star but not good if you are a footballer.
My mate worked in as security in his apartment bock and said he was always out late and when he did get home he had music playing and lights on until the early hours. This is why he was so poor at training each day.
He doesn't drink but you can't stay up raggig birds all night and then go to training and perform the next day.
We need to sell him and get him out of the club asap.
The story of him goin and when one of the players brought in a new iphone, then after training he had sent somone to but him 2 new phones Simms him up!
He enjoyed being a celeb more than playing football, I'm not too bothered, he had more of a chance than so e of our youngsters and blew it.
Nice one lad, but see ya later
Apparently the waster has completed his medical, but discussions between the two clubs continue

Well he never has done since he signed for Liverpool so you have to assume that he wants similar working conditions wherever he goes
Everyone here is saying he has the talent because he scored some goals at City but even a goat farmer from the cyprus third division could have scored those goals in a City shirt. A lot of people here are conned by his penalty goals so his stats are overated also.
He is the most overated player I have ever seen. I remember when he debuted for Internazionale and stood there for 90 minutes with no movement at all.
