Good thread idea. So many great players to suddenly come into the side. I expect Dadi to score a hatful, and therefore stand out, but it will be down to the supply from Cavaleiro, and partnership with Tex that will make it that way.
There have been so many mistakes since the ousting of Mick, and the subsequent downfall, that apart from winning League 1, there's been little to excite.
One mistake has been rectified today with dear Stears returning, (that wouldn't have happened with Moxey - he'd have been too arrogant to have admitted being at fault ), and overall, there's a great buzz about the club. Wolves fans should be happy and full of optimism.
Bod.
Every club needs a popular (and useful) striker - and he is just that.
Tex looks a nice heads up player but alas will go back
the horseman is our record signing so expectations will be high
I'm gonna go Saiss purely because all good expansive teams still need a midfield enforcer
Yeah reckon Saiss will be one of our best.
Really difficult to say how any of them will fair over an extended period, but I reckon Saiss may turn out to be the surprise package.
JDB also has the potential from what I've seen.
Best signing ?
Gotta be Halfy on a 12 month rolling contract for blinding match thread tomfoolery!
Failing that, I reckon Saisse could could a close second, I good player once tracked by BFC
I am our best export halfy, bringing home the silverware for three competitions now, pretty much a dynasty.
Got a feeling Stearman's going to play out of his skin and completely change the effectiveness of our defence.
Perm 4 from: Batth, Doherty, Silvio, CBJ, Stearman and Iorfa and then put a proper holding midfielder in Saiss in front of them. This should give our remaining 5 outfield players the freedom to play with some flair.
For that offensive 5 it's amazing to think that Walter will have to rotate the likes of Bodvarsson, Mason, Gladon, Dicko, Zyro, Teixeira, Costa, Price, Edwards, Oniangue, Coady, John, Graham, Wallace and Saville.
Time to sign up for the Predict the Team Competition.

Stearman glad to be home.

We already know that Bodvarsson is an excellent signing. If any of the others turn out to be better than him then they will be an exceptional signing for a championship club
Surprisingly no-one has mentioned Ola John who I think could be the dark horse of the package. It should be remembered that 10 of the 12 senior signings have no experience of Championship football and indeed have never played in England before. The ones we have seen so far look to be settling well with Jon Dadi, Teixeira and Costa looking the pick of the bunch so far. It is too much to expect all 12 to settle comfortably and produce fantastic football and history tells us that almost certainly one or two will be flops.
So who will be our best signing? I'm going for Jon Dadi Bodvarsson because he has already adapted to the league and settled well and he will only get better as the season progresses.
O.O.D.C.L. And our light is shining awfully brightly just now
Steady Gem, long way to go yet. Id say we can now clearly see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it'll take another 3 - 5 years before we are able to bask in its full blinding glory.
Fosun wants to take us to heights that this club hasn't experienced before.

Got quite excited when I first saw this match thread title, 'til I remembered George was dead.

Wondered where the 1 had come from
Bet you're the life and soul of the parties you attend, Mr Misery-Guts.
I would go for the signature on behalf of Fosun International at the bottom of the contract buying the club from Morgan.
I'm not 8 years old, I don't give out stars
Really? That;'s not the impression you give when "jousting" with Halfy.

I thought that read you don't give out "stats".
Your best signing has been Walter himself.
