Notso,I just got mixed up in the top 4 battle season they had. Thought it was Sissoko but then realised it was Cisse who had that good half of the season
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hahahaha Brilliant!
Cisse scored that absolute worldy against Chelsea where he volleyed it from a ridiculous angle, such a great goal
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUPsWFVryug
He was on fire for about half that season and then has been awful ever since.
If we'd paid 30m for him I'd have been even more furious

Think we should wait until we see before judging him one or or the other, better players to play with, so should be OK.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But you judged Njie before he arrived based on his haircut !
Hypocrite mug
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I could see he was useless from day one with a haircut like that. Unlike you who actually thought he was good on what you saw, showing as usual you know feck all about good and bad when it comes to judging players. What a plank.

It was Cisse that was class in that top 4 charge weren't it?my bad. Anyway I think on his day he can be very good as proven at the euros
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sissoko is a good player on his day, seemed to lift it in bigger games.
If going to Tottenham (who are at least more successful if not bigger) could see him raise his game on a more consistent basis which would make the fee worthwhile.
Just watch out when you've got a boring game against Burnley or if he starts eyeing a move elsewhere.
Sandy, got to lobe him
For judging Njie on his haircut what about Nkoudou mate?

Tbh given the amount of silly haircuts for top players that's probably a better indicator of a good player than a crap one.
But not anything anyone with a brain would use to judge a player.
I think that few Spurs fans would have been sad if Poch had off loaded Walker, vertonghen and Dembele a couple seasons ago. Talented players but just not delivering.
Now they are three mainstays of our team, some of the best and most consistent players we have.
Some players like Ade are just bad apples. Others simply dont have the talent or brains to succeed at the top level - Townsend. Others like Dembele have all the talent they need but dont deliver often enough, now. Now Poch has Dembele as a key performer in our team. I put Sissoko in this bracket and expect Poch to get him playing very well for us.

right so you are standing by your view that if you don't like someones hair cut ahead of them signing, then they must not be good.
you facking balloon sandy
All this notion that sissoko is unprofessional I suspect he is just a name thrown out there when half of the Newcastle squad were acting up. You would have to imagine it was crazy there give the turnover of managers and the issue with Ashley.
For me he is a top quality player who needs a bit of help to find consistently poch is the man to fulfill sissoko potential.
It's interesting to note too that graham Carr our former scout signed sissoko of a recommendation of our scout Ian Broomfield. We had scouted sissoko for a long time at Toulouse there is history there and this signing was recommended by who at Spurs recently? Ian Broomfield. This is years in the making despite this notion of it being a "panic buy"

Everyone knew about Sissoko about 4/5 years ago along with Capoue and M'Vila. Although Sissoko was a DM back then... So unless we were going to do to Sissoko what Mancini did with Toure I'm not sure this was in the works
Sissoko is a bigger version of oxlade Chamberlain imo. Powerful runner, little end product, but capable of great things on occasion. Doesn't get the injuries though.

I really like Ox as a player, so unlucky with injuries. Seems a good kid too.
