15k a week for 3 years + in the championship
Cannot believe McLeish is going after this convicted criminal and at £15,000 per week for 3 years!! Somebody is having a laugh at supporters expense if this is true - might be a Bosman free transfer but I think the club are making a terrible mistake - hope there is a backlash and he does not pull on the proud shirt for more than pre-season friendlies. I certainly will not be paying to watch any games next season. It's obvious that McLeish is under instructions to get the Bosman frees in because the Chinese aint got NO MONEY and know Naff all about football!! We have become a laughing stock.
After the last few years, I no longer give a stuff about morals in football, because I have come to realise there never will be any.
All I know is, this guy was Coventry's player of the season last year, scoring in 1 of every 3 games.
So I think, as long as he doesn't get nicked again or start attacking fans, then its a bloody good deal.
I also hope we keep Jerome now (have just turned down Boltons £5m offer and holding out for £8m) as I think King and Jerome would do well together.

Re, justanotherviler
I think you should concentrate on your own side and decide why your better players want to get out so quickly..
Also ask why Learner is trying to sign a manager who is mediocre at best.
Things are not right at Witton-by-the-sea.
RE Bigecksboring..
Totally agree with you. Jerome is a good enough striker with the right partner, him and Chucho were a handful. CJ's problem last season was a lack of support and being told to chase lost causes into the corner. (IMO)

Lock up your daughters i'd suggest ....... or get them some good martial arts training ....
McLeish didn't want to sign him but Marlon doesn't know the meaning of "no".
Missing you blues buddies, come and join us.....

point 1...the players who are leaving are surplus to requirments
point 2..do you mean a manager like mcliesh who took you all the way to the championship with no chance of getting promoted for years to come
point 3 the sun allways shines by the sea and even brighter in the premiership
As I said Mr Justanotherviler..
I would seriously worry about the goings on at the house of Scarlet & blue.
Martin O'Neil started the ball rolling. He walked.
Then along came Ooooolier. A decent enough bloke with a history of chest problems. He's gone (with 5million in the bag). And according to most vilers, good riddence.
Now, a certain Martinez could be in charge for a season. Hardly brings images of European football and silverware
If you really think it's always sunny by the sea, you need to get out more.I suggest you put the crayons back in the toy box and go out to play before it rains again.
Before you go look very hard at the villa pages, you will not find me there. "Why" you might ask.
"Because I ain't a WUM" I would reply.
I hope with these savings we get a Tesco style check out system BOGOF buy one get one free or if its 4-5-1 humpty dumty style of play again AM can do a BOGOF
We need goals so King, Charlie Austin and another maybe Jay Boothroyd might be ok. Aswante will be worth trying along with Redmond.
I like Robert Snodgrass leeds as well.
