He should have been outed the moment he selected Shrek for England

I thought everyone knew he was fat? What's the point in outing him?

I know this particular article is satire but I hope that soon people will realise that changing manager will make very little difference as they all have the same pool of overrated, overpaid, average dross to pick from.

The whole sorry performance that is England, is a very sorry bag of sheet, from the F.A, The Manager, The support Staff and The Players? on down to the shambles of a Stadium that is Wembley.
The Media (all aspects) who over-inflate the status of The Manager, and The Squad,by definition, over-inflate their own egos, only to change views as often as their Pants need booting into touch and the Supporters should show their displeasure by refusing to buy tickets for any future demonstrations of incopetence by the whole sorry lot.

Is it satire? He isn't good enough, he's just not the WHOLE problem. I was actually a little gutted England won (not that I wanted them to lose, but when that goal went in, I did mumble "damn" because that victory papers over the cracks that is English football. There is no point getting excited in any way for the next WC with Fat Sam, those same English players and this current FA set up / philosophy.

Supposed to be a close bracket, not a wink...

Song, I was not entirely sure satire was the correct word, but on looking up the exact definition I think it fits.

From www.oxforddictinoaries.com
The use of humour, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices....

I think that fits rather well.

Sticking with that lump Kane and having Rose on the pitch was the biggest mistake.

We looked much better once Walcott and Sturridge came on.

Yeah England have 'lamp post' problem. Slow striker up front means the CBs can get very close and it becomes almost impossible to find space to link play. Its the same problem we have had. Its making Spurs and England very one dimensional as we used to be.

Both players were rubbish when they came on. Of course Alli was good when he came on, but as he's a Spurs player we must not mention him.

Still contused. What's satirical / ironic / humorous here: "Didnt [sic] show anything to prove he is better than Woy. Won with a lucky late goal well after the allotted injury time."

Pretty accurate I would say.

In terms of better movement and opportunity-creation, Sturridge and Walcott definitely helped. Alli, however, made the biggest impact I think.

Shortest England reign ever. And statistically the best.

Long term it would have been less embarrassing to let him continue after making a public statement of apology. Though, I don't fee he even needed to do that. Very short sighted people run football in this country.
