The only team refusing to use DRS.- Good. Its a stupid system which can have two outcomes from the exact same delivery depending on who makes the appeal against the umpire. Ridiculous
Against T20 cricket being included in the Olympics.- Correct, its a commonwealth sport for a selected few countries. No way worthy of olympic status
Against a 2 division Test league- In priniciple a good idea but the same teams will play against the top teams with little or no chance for the smaller nations. I know one team would go up but the majority of games will just be against the same teams. Be boring
Refusing to play a series against Pakistan, even at a neutral venue- Thats a political decision so i dont think the BCCI could be blamed for that. There's more going on in that part of the world that we just dont really know about or frankly care
But yes, they do have too much power
It's not about wether we agree or not.
The ICC and other cricket nations want DRS, Olympics and 2 Division Test series but BCCI refuse to co-operate.
The ICC now want a Test match between the Top 2 ranked teams ( which happen to be Pakistan vs India at the moment ) this is unlikely to go ahead.
The ICC don't have the balls to stand up to BCCI.
We all know the referral system as improved the amount of correct decisions.. India just love sticking their foot down and saying here we are. They are against 20/20 in the Olympics because they don't want to devalue the money making Indian premier league..
and finally they don't want 2 a tier test championship
simply because they will never win away to England/Australia or South Africa in a 4/5 test series.
they are happy playing the west-indies home and away in 8 tests to improve their test rankings.
