Holding has had a good start. Impossible to judge after three games.
Recall Chambers having a similar start to his Arsenal career.
Beilik has only recently been converted to a CB and can't see him forcing his way past Gabriel in the pecking order just yet.
Sadly the OP is very reactionary.

Chambers is never going to make it.
It was a strange transfer in the first place, Arsenal paid way over the odds and he's never really shown consistent potential.
Make or break this season at Middlesbrough for him, if it goes wrong his next club will be in the Championship

Chambers is only 21 ffs.
He could stink out the next 3 seasons and it would still be too soon to write him off.
Chambers probably should have stayed at Southampton - but the likelihood is he would be valued at £50m by them now!
Problem of the current market, especially concerning young English players.
Holding has had 3 games LOL
We will be selling him after a bad game.
Holding is a good player but I doubt wenger was the one who found him. He is likely to have agreed to the signing though.
We have had a lot of bad centre backs in the last ten years and Gabriel is not one of them. But yes Holding does look the ticket, I hope it continues but probably not because of the arrival of the German,
Chambers looked just as good as holding when he forst arrive. Even won Arsenal player of the month in his first month here. Holdings had a brilliant start but long term there's no guarentee he'll become a top CB
Anybody slating Chambers should remember that we've just signed a lad for £35m who couldn't even break into the Everton team at Callums age.
Hopefully a less pressured environment at Middlesbrough gives him the opportunity to grow. He's not going to return as Carlos Puyol next year, but he has plenty of time left to develop. It will probably be 3-5 years and a couple more loan moves before he is ready for a starting XI place in a top 4 club (if he develops at a normal rate). There is nothing wrong with that.
As for Holding, maybe his development will be faster and smoother. Who knows? So far he looks promising, but it's very rare that a Centre Back becomes a first team regular in Champions League clubs during their early 20's.

Holding probably looks better as hes actually had a full season of playing week in week out.
Chambers looks poor as hes not really getting a run of games.
Although I agree that at his tender age it is premature to write him off - the issue with Chambers is that he doesn't appear (at the moment) to have the basic attributes that a CB should have in order to succeed at the top level.
He isn't pacey, although quite tall isn't physically strong. He also appears to be reactive and doesn't seem to read the game very well - although I guess that will only come with experience.

But I bet Wenger is to blame for all the players who don't work out right?
