It's a fair point, why the feck aren't we spending the money to get them back a little quicker?
Well I doubt City would be getting private jets if it were Romero and Rojo either.
I'm sure United could afford to charter private flights. I'd say it was at much a dig at United as it was at City. A double barrelled barb

Rojo was really good in the OT leg vs City last season tbf to him. Marked De Bruyne out of the game.
Like romero or Rojo have a prayer of getting on the pitch... should have been doing more to get valencia back though...

I would have thought it was the Countries FA who were footing the bill for travel to and from international matches.

..................
Did the same against Robben in the WC.
Only Valencia will start anyway and he's a machine. Not a great footballer but physically unrivalled.
Non story.
Also...excuses? City won 1 of last 4 derbies. Aginst lvg too.

He sure looked like a player at that WC, didn't he? I think he needs to play every week at the same position to be effective, and we've splashed him in and out in 2 positions, not going to work with that kind of player.
I'm sure past managers have always said that there's never really any problems with Valencia when he gets back from SA because it doesn't really effect him physically like it can others.

I've never heard you mention Rojo's performance in that WC semi final?

It was a joke, you mention it every single time you speak about Rojo.

Do I? It must be relevant as to why I thought he looked good in the WC then.
Yes, that would be it.
Sane could start. He and Sterling could see at least one of the United defence having a rest before the end of the game. So their travel wearing them out shouldn't be a problem.
Ok sweet cheeks, you actually only mention the semi final. I don't recall him being anything special in any of the other games or the semi really, both teams were scared to attack rather than being stifled by great defensive work.
Maybe the potless United players could have thumbed a lift of jettsetting City

Actually I mention more than that game, but most likely to other people. You obviously are not around then.
Imagine that.
Why didn't they swing by and pick them up
So, after this I guess Romero and Rojo will be retiring from international duty. Of their own volition, of course.
