5 stars, Pogba.

Aguero easily. I like Sanchez but he isn't close.

Bit hard to Judge players on form after just three games. Form should be judged over 10 games minimum.

Hazard isn't the best player on form. He isn't even the best in London. He's behind Ozil and Sanchez.

Best on form is probably Aguero.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I am sorry but Ozil is poo, and Sanchez doesn't show up in big games.

Sanchez has goals vs City, Utd, Liverpool, an FA cup final

Best player on form is Hazard. However the player I would most want to be in my team would be Aguero, as he performs more reliably.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
until he gets injured (or banned) then he's anything but reliable

He is top class tho

In their respective areas of the pitch, Aguero, Hazard, Pogba, Kompany and De Gea.

You can't compare what De Gea does for a living with what Hazard does for a living, for example.

Bit of a trick question this, OP.

Someone who is never going to be world class but has been bang on form (at his level) for a year now; Ashley Williams.

Or, as your article list suggests, are you only looking for attack-minded players?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just on form who do you think is the best premier player, It could be De Gea, Alderweireld or Giroud, Positions don't matter. I just gave a few candidates.

So you are trying to say 'when on form' rather than 'on current form'?

Yes as the article says which player when on form is the best, It could be De Gea, Hazard or Giroud if you really believed it.

Giroud at his very very best isn't even as good as an injured Sturridge

The difference between Hazard and Neymar is not a considerable distance, at least not on form. The distance in quality between Hazard and Moses is a considerable amount, and likewise between Hazard and Messi. But Neymar is not on a different level to Hazard, hes arguably better you might say, but I think its certainly not definite.

The difference between Hazard and Neymar is that Neymar can play at a high level consistently. However, my argument is that when Hazard is full flow he is at least as good, or if not a little better.

Neymar makes intelligent runs to score goals (a similar role to Pedro and Sanchez had), but dictating the game is left more to Iniesta and Messi. Until Messi retires, Neymar really won't be able to shine at his best.

Aguero is the best in form but in the next couple of years I think Pogba will be the best player

posted on 10/9/16

I'm surprised so many have mentioned Kompany, yes a few years a go he was a brilliant defender and easily one of the best but for a few years he's done next to nothing. You could say it's just because of injuries but surely there's a point where he's just not as good anymore too.

Maybe I'm biased but at their very best even now id probably go for Zlatan with Aguero and Hazard fractionally behind. All of them are quite a way off the Barca trio though.

Thought Pobga already was, £90m paid for him, assured us of his status as a world class player

We've seen with Schevchenko, Crespo, Torres and countless others that huge fees don't make great players for a club. For what it's worth he's shown enough so far to make me think he'll be a fabulous signing

posted on 10/9/16

Just because the fee paid was high doesn't mean anything at all lol, We were gonna pay £60m for Koulibaly but that doesn't make him a world class player.

5 - haven't watched a second of PL footy this season, was just curious to see what people have voted.

I imagine now that it must be Agüero, presuming that publishing this article on the Chelsea and United boards would inherently lead to a pro-Hazard, anti-Agüero bias.

I don't think this needs disputing.

We were willing to pay £42m for him, for £60m he would be a Chelsea player now.

Breaking world record transfer fee doesn't buy you a world class player ?

Ibrahimovic comfortably. When he turns up he's still the worlds best traditional striker.
