If he was ever to come back to the premier league surely the only 2 teams that can afford him are Chelsea and City.

Could we afford him? I'm not so sure, would we sign him given the opportunity? I think we would

Will it happen? I very much doubt it.

With his comments regarding only god knows his future etc etc yes that is similar to what he said whilst at united but at the same time you get the feeling that he's very happy in Spain and he said himself that he would sign a 10 year contract if he could.

But we are talking about a very ambitious man, will he be happy to spend the best years of his career playing second fiddle to Barcelona for much longer? This is where the question lies for me. After all the glory he had in Manchester, despite all his effort and goals in Madrid, if they don't win anything in the next 2 years I could see him returning to the PL to give his last few years an opportunity to return to the heights of his career that was achieved here. And whilst SAF is manager of United, I couldn't see him signing for another PL club, at least that's what I hope

If he signs for united he will still be playing second fiddle to Barcelona, at Madrid he has a better chance of beating them!

He wont come back to England IMHO

Been there got the t-shirt and medals... all of them.

Ronnie and Utd/England are the past.

To be honest I can't ever see him coming back here (unless he's finished and it's for money alone).

He's worth moe then some small contries already so shouldn't need th cash. If Real start winning the league and the CL (unlikely with the current BArca team) then he might come back but I don't see it.

I was thinking the same. If a club like Anzhi can afford to pay Eto'o circa 300K p/w, expect a pay rise fairly soon for Ronnie!

A pint and a packet of nuts will do

one day us United fans will look back & remember how lucky we were to see so many top class players at OT, & this lad was up there with the best IMO.

Can never see him ever coming back though, but we cant be to greedy can we.

I love the way Ronnie (and a lot of foreign supporters/players/managers) refer to Utd as just 'Manchester'.

Who are you calling a t055pot? I was just pointing out a fact.

Your completely off topic, why dont you go back to the CIty board and discuss your disgusting CEO!

Foreign players don't say United because they are not sure if it is pronounced yewnited or yernited and they don't want to embarrass themselves.
