Wilson very rarely gives the ball away. Senderos should have kept his feet instead of diving in but the more worrying thing was that Dembele was allowed to turn without there being a second challenge instantly... unreal. Hill has looked fine in the games I have seen him, the only one that gives the ball away is Kiernan because he thinks he can pass a ball and he can't. He has the odd decent tackle and that's it.

Been saying that about Kiernan since he joined us. Gave him the benefit at first as he's young and learning, but he hasn't improved a jot in over a year.

Wilson is ok and with an experienced CB I think he'd do fine. Warbs seems stuck on Kiernan though and I just don't get what he sees in him.

I won't judge Senderos until he's had a few games. I actually though he was ok first half. He dealt with everything that came his way and looked composed in possession. 2nd half his lack of fitness clearly caught up with him, not helped but by being constantly exposed by Kiernan either.

Hill is over the hill. He can head a ball but his legs are long gone. He won't be able to play every game either.

I think we should go for Senderos and Wilson together for a few games and let them try to gel and see if Senderos improves with games. If not I don't know what the answer is. I suppose it'll be yet another centre half needed in the next window.

I think Senderos played pretty well for a large chunk of the game - certainly looked better than anything else we currently have available.

He got caught deep at for the 3rd goal and then committed himself, but given his lack of match-sharpness I wouldn't be too harsh.

His 2 bookings were the frustration though, both easily avoidable and given his experience, he should have known better.

For me, McKay's chance for 2-2 was massive. We had been dreadful and if we had clawed it back from 2-0 down playing so badly, it would have interesting to see their reaction.

A sore one today, but as I've said elsewhere, far better Rangers and Celtic teams in the past have been beaten 5-1 and it will happen again in the future.

The most baffling thing is the cant somehow got himself a new contract in the summer. He should have been sacked after his performance in the cup final.
