Did you just compare our attack to Liverpool's?
Our attack is the best in the league on paper. Ozil and Sanchez are both offensive players and they're the two best players in the league.
Giroud
Perez
Sanchez
Welbeck
Walcott
Ramsey
Ozil
Can all score 10 in a season. Easily.
I agree with the op but Giroud, Sanchez and Walcott are all capable of scoring 10 plus goals. Yes we don't have the aguero type who will get you 25-30 goals which may be what we lack in the end but there is enough goals in the team if we can hit the form
At £17 million, Perez is the most expensive striker we've ever bought.
Everyone knows that we're perfectly OK with splashing the cash everywhere else on the pitch other than up front.

Walcott a couple of seasons ago? Yes. Walcott in his current horrid run of form? No. He played a lot last season and couldn't get that. When everyone is fit (or most), he probably won't play often enough to get near that.
Think you will be ok, Sanchez and Ozil are the best duo in the league on form. Saw glimpses of Perez today and think he will score a good fair few. Cazorla is a class player and makes a difference.
On the flip side we all know about Giroud and its dissapointing from an England perspective the way Walcott and Ox's careers are just standing still.
Giroud
Perez
Sanchez
Welbeck
Walcott
Ramsey
Ozil

-------------------------------------------
You mean Ozil who hasn't managed it in 3 seasons? has he even got close? Welbeck? Perez? For all you know, he's another Aspas or Soldado. Both are more accomplished and still flopped here in England.
Still think Walcott can give us something from out wide as long as he stays wide and plays as a winger rather than getting too central.
I think in the key moments we will struggle not having that world class striker but there is plenty goal options in the team

Arsenal are at best looking at 5th place. Both Man. City and Man. Utd. will run them off the field. Chelsea are superior and Liverpool looked really good today. That means they will battle with Spurs for 5th place.
By the way, Walcott still has his speed judging by the way he got off the field when pulled. Now if only he can demonstrate it when he is playing!

Liverpool will not finish above Arsenal they are far too inconsistent. Like last season Liverpool did well against the top teams but then got beat by so many lesser teams. This season has already shown that. Liverpool beat Arsenal then lost to Burnley. Liverpool defence still looks dodgy and a lot of teams will exploit this.

Do you know for how many years I have heard this old chestnut?
OP
We ain't going to improve untill we replace wenger with a better manager.
IMO we shouldn't persist with Walcott or the Ox, they can be left as bench players if need be. They are far to inconsistent in their performances and at times it's like playing with 10 players. The balance of the team is wrong.
We need this to work:
Sancez--Perez--Iwobi
Walcott, Ox and Giroud have all proved they aren't good enough, the others haven't yet.
When we signed Perez I said this, but would give him a few games before writing him off. I said that rather than spending money on Mustafi we would probably be better off sticking with Holing until the other senior defenders come back and spend all the money on a proven better striker than one who looks like a journeyman player.
I still feel this is true.
If Walcott can get back to his best following years of injuries he can be a valuable player, but of recent form is not good enough.
The thing with Giroud is that he can go on a 'hot streak' and score in 5 or 6 games in a row. Of course, he can also go 8 or 9 without getting anything.
The introduction of Perez now means we can comfortably drop Giroud when he goes off the boil instead of enduring a quarter of the season with a striker who can't score
Utter nonsense to making bold predictions regarding players.
The fact is this team has not settled. Its what you get when you buy players late in the day.
We are changing style and Wenger has to stick with it. Thats the only we will get fluidity. However if we go back to Giroud we will return to the same ponderous style. Nothing will change and we ill drop out of the top 4.
Look at City and Liverpool. No big target men. And making ball do the work. They are far more attractive to watch as a team and producing results to boot. We are just now going back to that. Late in the day.

Exactly 4th is in our DNA, we cannot finish below 4th, it's impossible. People might as well predict Barcelona to be relegated this season.
Wenger has become boring and its filtered down on his team.
Sadly, having read some of the apathetic comments on my conclusion that the Gunners are a 5th place team at best, I am now convinced that Arsenal fans are among the most naïve in football.
I'm afraid that your simple comments will return to haunt you later in the season when you don't have referees who will hand you soft penalties in "Fergie" time.
When that happens, no doubt, you will go into hiding. In the meantime enjoy your Wenger inspired lady's crochet pattern type of passing back and forth the field, while the opposition gets back to form their defensive wall.
