I thought he was only a pacy player until when we played Southampton away last year and when he came on he single handedly won the game for them.
It was not his pace what I liked about him in that game, but his close control and the vision for the cuts through balls from him.
Always looked a threat when i saw him for Southampton said to a mate a while back we should sign him. When we signed i was put off by the price tag a bit tbh. Think its clear what he offers us that something that helps the team immensely.
Felt yesterday he had a pretty average game and was actually poor for the first 30 mins in the fact that everything he was trying especially passing just wasn't coming off. One example was when he gave the ball away then used his pace to get it back then just gave it away again. Despite that though hes always gna be an outlet and a threat like he proved yesterday and i like his swagger.
His movement is his greatest strength for me (allied with his pace of course). He makes good runs that help others out. The goal yesterday was a great example - so many players mess up that run or assume Sturridge has it covered and chances get wasted.
If we can cut out the silly mistakes, our attack can beat anyone on their day
______________
If we were more accurate with our passing and more clinical when it comes to finishing then in games like the Arsenal and Leicester ones we are finishing 8-3 8-1 easily and we beat Spurs by 3 goals etc.
If we play like we have done and everything goes our way can see a few teams getting a pasting from us this season. We do have a tendency to start games extremely sloppy though and on top of that the goals we concede are usually from sloppy mistakes.
Phenomal player hes so direct. tbh i didnt think he would be so good. as mentioned earlier its nice to have a player that immediately works out.
Makes depay and marial look like wannabees.
Like others have said its his movement that is key.
A young player like Ibe just used to stand on the wing and then have a run when it was passed to him. Sometimes it looked good but usually it didn't amount to anything.
Mane gets himself in positions to receive the ball behind the opposition, and forces passes to him by giving our players a good option to pass to.
He's so electric and clever at playing one twos that the likes of Lallana and Firmino love.
All about whether he can produce consistency across a season now. His quality is without doubt.

One of the most ridiculous comments I've read today. What an "if" that is.
The big worry is what will we do when goes to the African nations. I don't think we git another player as direct as him
He will only miss about 3 games.
A shame but it's not going to end our season.

well by no means i expect it to happen all the time im just saying, mainly on the days where everything just goes for us teams will be smashed playing. Vs Lesta and Arsenal we were pretty wasteful and we generally are even when we win 4-1 or w.e theres always a feeling should've been more.

On the contrary, you were very efficient against Arsenal. You conceded sloppy goals, but you converted pretty much every clear chance you created. Cech didn't even get to make a good save. Your first goal infact came right at the end of a first half when you had done next to nothing. So I'm wondering where you 8-3 scoreline comes from.

True Cech didn't have much to do only pick the ball up at the back of net.

Exactly. But he made it sound like you scored 4 and should have banged in another 4, when in reality, that was one of your most clinical displays.
What i am seeing is a guy who was excellent presaseon just playing wide and made lots of goals..... suddenly flourishing into a player being totally freed by klopp. This 433 has allowed him go where he sees opportunities.. same as firmino.

Wijnaldum had a great chance first half, side footed at Cech.
Coutinho had great chance after good play from Firmino and Lallana missed the follow up
Firmino hit side netting in the second half.
That's at least 7 goals.
