I agree SKH. Let's play football instead of humping the ball up to Wood in the air only for him to lose it.

We could try actually playing to Wood's strengths before we drop him.

Didn't he offer nothing on Saturday? Why not give Roofe a chance he'll be hungry to impress.

Cause he has had chances and done nothing, however you can say that about most of this team.

Personally Id start with a five man midfield and one up front, and if that's the case you got to start with wood a he is better suited for that sort of game

The problem is you can suit the team to play around Wood but he misses far too many chances!

I'm not suiting it to play around wood.

I'm suiting it to play to the fact we need five in midfield as we are poor there.

And if we do that then we either have to play 3 at the back (and we would get murdered if we did that)

Or one up front.

So out the two options is play 1 up top and for me tht one is wood, however I'm also interested to see if ant could do it.

Thought Wood was rubbish at the weekend. Seemed incapable of holding it up, incapable of winning headers (indeed, his first two jumps were so comically mis-timed that he'd landed back on the ground before the ball had got to him!), although I accept that the supply to him was almost non-existent.

Unfair to comment on his poor finishing when he gets such poor service.

But not unfair to comment on his poor all-round play when he didn't win any headers or hold the ball up for him team-mates.

Was amazed that he stayed on when Doukara was introduced.

Its the team I would pick, 5 stars from me. Roofe needs to play up top and against a poor defence he and Ant should have a good time. Id loan out Wood to league 1, cant cut it at this level unless he's defending

Lets Hope we are not Talking about Monk Tomorrow night- and we have out first home win and on to Cardiff
