Interesting philosophy
I agree
Score more goals than the opposition and you will win games
No chance we'll get out the group, but more confident that we could finish 3rd after the last few performances.
As much as you can point holes in the Barca and City defence; their options going forward are unreal
I think we need to enjoy it now we are there though; I think I'd like to see us "go for it" more now that we have qualified for the group stages.
BRING IT ON!
Murnetti you know what I mean, its like teams going to defend at Parkheid 9.99 times outta 10 they will get nothing. But if you go to attack then a better chance, read in the paper he may go 3511 or 541 whatever
That's the thing. You normally see teams that actually have a go at the better teams probably doing better off than the teams that just sit back and defend for 90 minutes. Lennon said we tried to attack when we could, but we just couldn't get the ball
I feel like we will look to be aggressive on the counter, but I do hope we look to try and keep hold of the ball when we get it. If we defend for long periods, we won't even have the legs to counter using more than just the front three.
Think it will be a lot of work for Dembele tonight. Will most likely be the lone striker and will have to do a lot of hold up play to get the rest of the team involved.
Him, hopefully Roberts, along with Sinclair all have the talent and speed to make something happen from nothing. I hope we try and make a proper game of this. Like is mentioned before, we've really nothing to lose. The money is already in the bank, so why not go for it.
i think we will score but be humped.
big moose
We have good options of the bench which is promising. The heat and the amount of time we will no doubt spend chasing the ball will affect any chance to have of a good counter. Good to have the likes of Roberts / Forrest, Gamboa and Armstrong off the bench (all of course subject to the team he puts out).
Moussa as well may not see too much of the ball tonight so hoping he carries on his form from Saturday and uses it wisely when he gets it.
just remember Hapoel game away
Ghod.
I expect nothing other than a sound football lesson.
The experience can only help (as long as it's not too bad a hammering )
The way City played on Saturday, Barca will be worried about top spot in this group
Makes sense to go with the 3 CB's away to Barca so the full backs can still get forward without being torn to bits defensively. Could see us go:
-------------------DDV
----------Lustig Kolo Erik
Gamboa*--------Bitton--------KT
------------Brown---Rogic
-----------------Sinclair
----------------Dembele
*Or Forrest instead of Gamboa, debut in the Nou Camp is a baptism of fire
listen to Nheggfather over here.
need to be pozzy mate. i'm pozzy.

pozzy that we will get humped.

Let us foolishly dream once again
I think that most Celtic fans are realistic about tonight. We will give it our best shot but will get beaten. Hopefully make a good account of ourselves

The beat a Europa League team by one goal
Yup, a whupping on the cards but I will weirdly still enjoy it, just like when you hear that music blasting oot over CP, makes you remember how we got here and should enjoy whatever or what is the point of bothering
i hope we wipe a few of their players out

Apparently Messi is expected to start on the bench. This dream of just a 3-1 defeat could become a reality
3. A late night ham shank to the pawrn freebies at 11am then a feeling of worthlessness after.
