Yeah we played well enough to get something out of the game , Monaco only had the 2 shots on target.
Let's not forget that this is a team that whacked PSG
3-1 recently, but that's still no excuse.

Monaco showed what it is to be clinical. We missed so many chances, Kane was so poor today and is continuing his poor form, Janssen to start next match. Nothings been made of it but Kane was so lucky with his goal v Stoke
They scored against run of play twice
Yeah Kane looks shiet
I dont think the mistake was to start Son but playing Alli in CM. Dembele or even Wanyama would have been a better option.
Poch no way at blame, alli played CM v stoke when lamela came on. He did all he could, not his fault the players bottled it again on the big stage. The play was just so lethargic.
On a side note, why is it that Lloris is never able to keep us in games like other keepers, see Vorm v Liverpool as an example. Any time shots are on target they seem to go in
Lloris had zero chance with either goal, he is not 10ft tall and 4 feet wide

How is it that he just always happens to have "zero chance". What is the point of getting a good keeper then if they are always excused.

You can't compare Monaco to a woeful Stoke Team
Also, we finished the Stoke game with Alli in CM - we started with Dier/Wanyama and were under sustained pressure early on at the Britannia.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Were we under "sustained pressure" today though genius
No way can you blame Poch for todays defeat. It wasn't his fault that we decided to miss all of our chances, and not play with any intensity

I was OK with tonight`s match, the only thing is though Poch does not seem to handle cup games that well. He seems more in tune with the Prem than any cup game since he has been at the club. You can count on one hand his Prem defeats, but cup defeats seem to be the norm with Poch.

Two sucker punch goals, allowed them to crowd us out in the middle & back. Our overall performance was ok, but we couldn't make our good play count and got punished for our poor moments.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We're so blunt this season so far tho, apart from one game. Decent play, good passing some silky play then we just fizzle out when we get near the box.

And that's why we needed Dembele or Wanyama to start at CM today like at the Britannia, weather any early pressure and then take a DM off and bring Alli deeper later in the game
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't think you understand how football (or debates) work. You don't just post your response regardless of what I just said. Your response makes absolutely no sense, we were not under sustained pressure today so the MF issue is not an issue

That'd have a big effect on you boys
Wonder what Poch's record is like in the cup games for Spurs? Spurs seem to be a completely different side under him in them compared to the league.
