Yeah, completely agree. I can see us getting hammered at some point. It's a risky game Pep is playing, and at the moment it's paying off. It certainly won't pay off 38 times over the course of the season!

Should keep Iheanacho in however you can.
Was always concerned as to how we would replace Silva. No need to worry. Fabulous performances throughout the team. Fernandinho deserves a special mention for me. Difficult not to get giddy about what lies ahead.

Haven't seen the Nolito one, was in the family stand and had no idea what happened.
The most pleasing thing for me was, as you mention Ripley, who was out and that it didn't affect us. We've spent the four seasons where if only two of our spine were out, we'd suffer. None of them played today (Hart, Kompany, Silva, Toure, Aguero). The transition is coming along very nicely.
Do you not think Nolitos card will get overturned? Nothing in it for me.
Same Melts didn't even know there'd been a foul. When I saw the yellow and the red I assume he'd reacted. Will have to watch it on MOTD.

That's exactly what we were saying a half time. When we lost Silva, Aguero, Kompany and Toure at the same time last season, our form plummeted.
To say they weren't missed today would be doing them a dis-service but it's obvious we've got the balance of the squad just right plus Pep has made the players adaptable to a change of shape in the side if he feels it's neccessary.

Both players were chasing a ball that went out of play. The BMTH player barged Nolito in the back and the Spaniard squared up to him and appeared to throw a headbutt in his direction but not at him.
The Sterling incident was much more serious, he was punched in the face in a semi-off the ball incident.
From where I was sat, you could actually hear the 'thwack'. I don't think the ref saw it but the linesman should have.

It is about the transition. It was labelled towards us last season that we were an aging team. Understandably so. We looked weaker without the established players - Kompany, Silva, even Aguero at an extent.
Silva has been excellent this season - yet wasn't missed at all today.
Aguero is now in his prime. He wasn't missed today.
Kompany, in my opinion still our most accomplished defender - hasn't played all season.
It is looking good.
Sterling, as the Liverpool fan points out, is a talent who is now justifying his move and thriving under Pep.

Fancied you for the title at the start of the season, not seen anything to suggest that won't be the case thus far. Injury problems is the only thing I can see holding City back, but that's not a guarantee either.
Thanks Maf, however, the point of the article is that we now have cover pretty much everywhere, whereas in previous seasons one or two injuries threw us off course. The midfield has so many quality players it is embarrassing and we have youngsters coming in as well. Pel wouldn't have done that. Jesus arriving at Christmas should reinforce the strike force when the get tired from all those goals.
