Mr Mourinho, no LiquidGenuis is not for real.

He's a poster who's intent here is to get a rise out of other posters. He doesn't really believe what he writes. He just writes it in order to get a reaction.

Best just to ignore him really.

Nolito got what he deserved. Going head to head would normally get you a yellow. Pushing your head at the other guy would normally get you a red. He pushed his head and got sent off.

Didn't see the Sterling incident.

The big difference between this year's start is that we've been getting better each game and most City fans feel more comfortable this year than last.

I always expected some crap performances last year. I don't this season. We may lose some but we'll always play well.

I was 100 pct serious.

If you go player by player, we compare favourably with City in most positions - don't forget we finished ahead of you last season and you haven't beaten us in the last 7 attempts (L4 D3).

Just as a question...how many of today's starters where signed or brought through on Pel's watch?

So far Guardiola is living up to the hype. Watched a lot of his Barca side and it was round about late-September that they really kicked into gear in his first season. I seem to recall them trouncing Atleti 6-1 around then and basically didn't look back. I had a suspicion that he might use Silva in a deeper role but didn't think he'd do it with both he and De Bruyne who looks sensational.

I'm assuming Spurs won't win the league so I genuinely hope that you walk it, and do so playing such quality football.

Cheers, Boris. Was just wondering on the back of the discussion about transition and bomdia's comment about not bringing youngsters through, then I thought Iheanacho, Sterling (in the sense of playing youngsters)...wasn't sure how much of the transition might have been taking place before Pep arrived.

Leds, did you read that interview the other day where he spoke about Iniesta walking into his office after they lost their first and drew the second?

Our 4 best players today (imo) were KdB, Sterling, Fernandinho and Kelechi - All brought in by Pel.

In so many years watching City this feels surreal, a time where you can go through the team and know there is almost no-one from any other PL team who would get in the match day squad. Kompany will be needing rotation to get any game time and the cup team City put out against Swansea would frighten most PL teams. Kompany, Yaya, Delph and Fernando should at least get some game time in that.

Kolarov surely has been around since before Pel though. What about Sagna/Clichy/Fernandinho?

As for this year's signings, personally can't help feeling Nolito's just a place filler.

Hope time proves me wrong, as it would be great for the Spain team for him to be a first name in a Pep team. Don't see it though.

bomdia, I disagree. Perhaps the scariest bit for your opponents is seeing there's still loads of room at City for improvement personnel-wise. At least I think so.

Wow. They battered Numancia in the first game and also should have won the second. I knew about what Cruyff had written but had no idea Iniesta had said that

Ridiculous talent.

I only heard the results of those games, didn't watch them. Was quietly confident the Barça collapse under Laporta would continue.

Do you not think Nolitos card will get overturned? Nothing in it for me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nailed on red. Just don't understand why the Bournemouth player didn't walk. Pushes Nolito when the ball is dead, instigated the head contact and then pushes him again. Only a yellow for three yellow card offences. Referee was poor today.
