Perhaps Jon. It's very lethargic. Shouldn't surprise too much though. It's a van Gaal team in many respects. Rooney and Fellaini have never moved the ball quickly. We'd be sharper with Herrera or Mkhitaryan in place of Rooney.

Incidentally, remember when Jose told us Rooney wouldn't play CM. That lasted all of 5 games...

Of course it isn't. He was our manager for 2 years, pellegrini was at city for about 4 and they've managed to adapt to a new manager and style.

The problem is the instruction. Safety first for Jose.
