Took the dog out yesterday morning and spotted some Little Egrets in a field. Counted 15 in total. Not so little though.

Yeah, our garden backs onto a wildfowl sanctuary. There are footpaths with board showing a picture and details of the birds that you are likely to see. One of the boards is all about the Little Egret so pretty certain that is what we are seeing on a regular basis.

Just back from the Raptor Count here in Cyprus. A steady stream of Honey Buzzards all day. Counted about 212. Also quite a few Bee Eaters heading down to South Africa.

this has been one eclectic thread, everything from football (not much) to racism to bird watching, with a bit of Stearman for good measure.

What we need now is a bit of gaming news, Tino you're up

Should I pre order my PS4 VR headset or wait a few months for them to work out the kinks?

It's funny but no matter how many birds you see and what varieties they are, any bird of prey is somehow more interesting and more impressive.

Red Kites do it for me - awesome. I used to drive miles out into Wales to watch them. Now you just need to drive down the M40!

Honey buzzards rock. Had a few in the new forest but tough to find. Nice flyway you have there in Cyprus.

In answer, me and it would appear Tino are in, if you enjoy gaming then VR will definitely spice things up, thiese are early days, and VR will grow.

I will get the VR. Just not sure whether to get it when its released. Technology like that is always buggy when first released.

I was thinking of getting it around January time when the release the new Resident Evil. I imagine that will be brilliant to play with VR.
