"You know what's going to happen, don't you?"

Agree with the line up apart from Nyom. Isn't he a right back?

I'll be disappointed if we don't win this one for all the reasons you've outlined. Stoke are there for the taking so this is the ideal opportunity to get some momentum going!

He is.

but he came on for Galloway on Saturday and did very well. West Ham had just scored their 2nd goal before he came on. His arrival completely stopped their momentum. He calmed the whole defence down and actually led a few attacks.

"11 goals conceded"

"4 in each of their last 3 games"

Back to school with you!

I know they've had a tough start to the season (City, Everton, Spurs) but Stoke were woeful at Selhurst on Sunday.

2-0 WBA.

Fair enough. If he played well he should certainly keep his place.

Looks like Pulis has done it again.

Playing Nyom (a RB at LB). Nyom has been overrun all game. Finally Stoke have capitalised on it and scored.

The bloke is an idiot. The commentators saw it after just a few minutes "Nyom is struggling on the left there.. being played out of position".

15 minutes to go.. but it doesnt look good. And theres no-one to blame but Pulis.

As soon as he goes 2 up front.. the Baggies take the game to Stoke.

FFS, play 2 up front against the beatable teams all the time you muppet!!!!!

Scrappy game but just about deserved the draw. Stoke are better than their position suggests for me so it's a good point. Especially as I thought we get done over.

Rondon is a top top striker. We are lucky to have him!

8 points is a real good start to the season. Sunderland next!

Yes. Rondon is class. With more service he could get 20 goals this season for sure.

Albion look dangerous when more attack minded. Hopefully Pulis will wake up and see that too!

A deserved point.

Didn't go but seems like a slight improvement compared to some of our other away performances. Really do miss a creative CM though just to help us control possession at times.

Decent point all things considered.

Oh and about Rondon...can't believe we have fans that don't rate him. If he was at a top 8 club he would be banging 15-20 goals a season.

Was it a point won or two points dropped because of the way we set up to play?
We simply have to attack Sunderland next week. If we go 2-0 down, 1, it'll be a scandal, and 2, we won't recover like Palace did yesterday.

We've got 3 very tough fixtures after the Sunderland game so a defeat would be bad. I really can't see us setting up to attack though.

We've had a very favourable start fixture wise. Looking back at our 2 victories, the Palace game came at a time when they couldn't score for toffee and West Ham are seemingly getting turned over by everyone.

Hope i'm wrong but I suspect we'll be in a relegation fight by the end of October if we don't beat Sunderland.

Against my better judgement, I'm going to say we'll beat Sunderland and then somehow finagle points from our tougher fixtures.

I don't see the best sides as awe-inspiring as used to be the case. If you accept the premise that the top sides are the 2 Manchesters, Liverpool, Everton, Spurs,Arsenal and Chelsea

How can you disregard your own teams victories so easily.

It's absolute balls. If that's how we are doing things then every team that plays us should fancy their chances. Right?

I'll wager we are comfortable of the drop come April?

Now that is what I call a top stat!
