I'd love to see Diaz get the last 30 minutes.
It will be a good chance to see how far Pep's influence has percolated down through the players and if new players in the team can match the high tempo and high line he demands.
Let's lose a game and blame it on Pelligrini.
I'd like Pep to take this competition seriously and against Premier League opposition not to go too heavy on youth players.
We all saw Pellegrini's team against Chelsea last season in the FA cup, that was youth too far.

What Pellegrini did with the kids was frankly a disgrace
I think Fernando, Delph, Kompany and Navas will start. Is Nolito banned for this one? 3 or 4 kids on the pitch together is all City should do if the experience is to be meaningful.
So looking forward to Jesus helping us after Christmas. Only seen youtube vids, but the kid looks impressive.
With the way we play and his speed and footwork it will be interesting to see how he fits in to peps team.

They are staying in Wales until after Saturday's game, interested to see this double header and how fringe players have adapted to the new style of play pep has instilled.
Just can't see Pep starting with lots of kids. He can put sqaud players like Willy, Clichy, Kompany, Delph, Navas in with a couple more first teamers. I reckon maybe 2 kids starting tops.

That's what I thought. Maybe he's playing him and Clichy as joint wing-backs.
No Delph, even on the bench? I presume he will be on the bench at the weekend for Round 2 of the South Wales tour.

Been very poor
Not on his own with that either
Vinny and Zab are the only 2 showing anything like the form we've come to expect.
Dreadful passing and a lack of ideas.
I think we have been okay, a bit disjointed but to be expected, sane not had a good game and kelechi not his best
Garcia and Kompany excellent so far
