Agree with your line up. We 100% need Dembele for City if he is fit.

I would like Dele to play but its hard to argue a case for him vs Lamela, Erikson and Son.

No chance will Sissoko play CM while Alli is fit.

I'd go for same as Boro but Lamela for Sissoko

going Alli again in CM? after how exposed our CM was v Monaco with him in there?

he's not a CM, hes an AM. he might be able to get away with CM against some of the jokey sides in the prem.. but not in the CL.

Monaco are one of the weakest CL sides around and they sauntered through our MF every time they had the ball.

I would rather Sissoko and Alli swap personally Chronic, but I don't think Poch would do that.

Although I did like the 4141 formation against Boro where the fullbacks was flying forward as much which meant we only really needed 1 DM with Alli & Eriksen both central

Winks is actually a CM and Sissoko and Alli are not.

I trust him.

But does look like Alli is being put as a CM which is worrying

If Dembele wasn't an injury prone cant we wouldn't have this problem

Alli was a CM all his playing career before joining Spurs.

Only the odd occasion he'd playing just behind the striker at MK.

This is the champions league not league one ffs

no idea why I put winks in my team, brain fart.

I initially prefered Alli at CM last season.

His clever runs were more effective, and he was given more space which I think he needs due to a poor first touch.

Issue was Dembele-Dier was so good they were undroppable.

He played in a 3 midfield for France I believe with pogba & Kante ( may have been the psg cm )

Like I put Alli is currently our 4th CM there's no doubt about as Poch has shown by picking him there.

It might chance down the line especially when Sissoko gets up to match sharpness as he looks of the pace currently to me
