I expect to finish ahead of Spurs this season. Not that I'd call it an achievement. League placings mean nothing if you don't win it.

OK so Liverpool don`t want to play in the CL anymore. Honestly you lot are amusing.

I think Spurs will get about 70 points again which is great for them, as it's all relative, but really I'd like to see us pushing 80+. Tough but if we don't draw many, and I don't think we will, it's very possible.

I disagree with anyone who suggests that Swansea will be there for the taking. They are fighting for their lives and will be hard to beat. Any thoughts to the contrary are suicidal.

Spurs? Again, still a very good team, behind us in bedding in ther new signings, not quite fully firing, but getting there.

They are each our next targets to beat. City are not invincible; Celtic certainly proved that last night. A draw between them and Spurs would be nice.

Instead of Lovren, I'd have Klaven in the back four.

When GB & Sandy are having one of their spats, for some reason this pops into my head.

Again what's the point in playing in the CL when you're not going to win it or make a dent.

I'd liken Spurs in the CL to the guy running the marathon in the dinosaur costume. Never going to win it.

Trophies are what counts, not how many times you participated in a competition or how many times you finished about another team in the league.

I'm sure will one day experience what it's like to actually be succesful though

Bit like Liverpool being in the Premiership then, when they are never going to win it.

25 years and counting. Man United Have won 13 titles in that time.

Think any Liverpool fan would say it's not good enough.

Done better than Spurs in that period though haven't we? Both in league standings (worth more than trophies according to your lot) and in trophies.

GB has been spouting his deluded bolloks on here for over 6 years and every season he repeats the same sh** telling everyone how Liverpool will come above spurs and how fantastic LFC are.......every season spurs come above Liverpool. I can't wait for Liverpool to crash back down to earth along with GB who no doubt will be hibernating in a corner like he usually does. Spurs look every bit as good if not better than last season and are still a solid outfit unlike Liverpool who's defence are one of the worse in the league. That my friend will be your downfall as once again you finish below spurs and miss out on a top 4 place

Four goals conceded in six games. Makes me laugh the way everyone thinks we still have a terrible defence when it has clearly improved since the first couple of games.

Big Talk Don

Spurs do look good but youhave to agree we look like a far better side this season, our defense has been poor but Matip coming in has helped, still need to tighten it up though to make a proper challenge, however with the amount we're scoring you never know, for example in 13/14 we conceded 50 goals (50!) but we scored over 100 finishing second so it can be done.

I'd rather we scored loads and conceded less though

*we're a better side than we were last year, not saying we look like a far better side than Spurs, just to clarify

knee rash, not denying you are a better side but GB spouts his deluded bolloks on here as per usual playing down every other team. The guy never learns and always makes himself look a fool

Good job you always rise above it really.
