A) not so good, Max Lowe is a bright new youngster, just signed a new 4 year contract.

B) Championship is getting stronger and harder each year through parachute payments, and owners and managers who have a clue!

C) Jaap Stam only has one FRIEND in football

D) heart says 2-1 to us.... head says Reading always do us...

Cheers

Long time mate, good to see ya back.

Bogey team for us so I'll take a draw right now.

I think it'll be very tight, maybe 0-0 or a 1-0 for somebody!!

Hi diab0,
You must know our current situation regarding Pearson ?
We won on Tuesday, but that might have been our new manager bounce. Anything could happen at the weekend, nothing would surprise us at the moment.
Saw your televised game v Ipswich. Thought you looked a bit like us last season. Lots of possession, not much penetration. Hope that's the case on Saturday.

Lots of possession, not much penetration

Sounds like a marriage.

Blackman and Vydra haven't exactly set the league alight with their goals. I don't think we have ever won a league which Blackman started. He does know how to take a penalty though.

How long are you married Spart?

Not much penetration, I'm guessing a long time, happy wife.

Let's hope that Blackman starts on the bench, comes on and scores an equalising penalty with Vydra popping up in the last minute to belt in a winner.

Then Saturday evening Spart will be happy and his missus stressed.

Expecting a tough draw...

If we have tough in us then I'm happy, win, lose or draw.

It's all most off us ask.

It's about time we went for a foreign manager, the names coming out tomorrow in the latest scandal is hardly a shock but a list of who knew how to play the system, gaining a fraction of what they earned in their day to day.

If Mel wants the Derby way, now is the time to look outward rather than inward with the same old, same old.

I was for married 31 years Igor, then I realised why I wasn't happy.

Doesn't matter where the manager comes from provided he acquires and selects the best players, and then motivates them. They all learn from the same coaching manual.

posted on 30/9/16

Spot on Spart with the emphasis on Motivation I think. Our team just didn't want to play for NP like they wanted to play for NC who therefore got a lot out of many lower league, lower cost signings.

I've been married for 41 years and have never been happy, I thought it was Derby County's fault. Thanks Spart.

I like the pick the best players bit, you would have thought it was obvious, but not to NP.

Ramdini, it's team spirit that we have been lacking for some time. If we can get rid of the troublemakers we will do better. They certainly didn't seem to want to play the Pearson way, perhaps a slug of Port would have done the trick.

Re.re.re. reminder.

Pearson isn't suspended for football reasons.

posted on 30/9/16

I don't think you divorce his actions off the pitch from the performance of the team on the pitch.

It brings in to question as to whether Pearson is temperamentally suited for management now. A sort of Billy Davies with psychopathic tendencies.

you can divorce
