Thing is, with Toby, Verts, Dembs and Wanyama in the middle, everyone is going to be try to take us on down the flanks. So a bit of pace and power out there is going to be needed. We're going to have a lot of teams playing on the break against us, even (when we are) away from home.
With sissoko, alli (or eriksen or winks), nkoudou and kane, we've got someone to stick it in and hold it up, a dribbler, someone to thread the ball through, and a bit of bosh. Plus the armoury to snub out attacks out wide.
Lloris
Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose
Dier, Dembele
Lamela, Alli, Eriksen
Kane
Lamela and/or Eriksen could totally boss it as the AM in theory but we've not seen it so I can only go with Alli as he showed last season he can do it.
Certain starters for me are our regular back five of Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen and Rose.
As good as Dier was last season Wanyama deserves to keep the DM position for the time being and Dembele when fit and on form is a must for the team.
Son is playing superbly atm and can't be dropped and then we have Kane who is a certain starter when he returns from injury. That leaves Alli, Eriksen, Lamela, Sissoko and N'Koudou fighting it out for the two remaining attack midfield slots.

We have a very trick formation. With our personnel I can't tell what we play anymore.
I've read a few articles and they range from
4141
433
4231
Could even be 4321
We can play all these formations without changing on field personnel.
Fair play to Poch. He's added flexibility in the team whilst Wanyama gives us the protection to do so.
Dier has his work cut out but luckily with 2 games a week no player can really complain. They'll either play champs league or prem.

Exactly
Last season we were flapping about Dier's yellows, and wondering when to rest him when the Europa was dropped back in.
Now we have the option of a different midweek and weekend player if we wish, with no nailed on first choice from either.
Son has proven himself adept at being 'Kane' now, meaning Janssen has more time to settle.
Eriksen has dropped in and been 'Dembele' recently
Sissoko and Nkoudou look promising alternatives in the forward positions.
The squad is looking very versatile indeed
