"£20 to see St Mirren? Do I get a free pint to get over the price?"
It's a tenner if you're unemployed.
Which is most of Paisley
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you saying Paisley isn't a delightful place?
I'm still laughing that they're going for Capital of Culture
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No way?
Need to keep up with things from up the road more!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They're spending thousands on their little museum and really pushing for it
I think the last time I was there they had some weird parade about weaving and some weird dancing going on, I really didn't get it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair play to them.
Credit to the away side tonight.
My feeling of this issue is, as generations of players move on or are called up to the squad the burden of past failures will always be lingering in the back ground as the National side continue to face such pressure for qualification for a major tourny.
If you look at England they've always had strength and depth and a quality of player but have been unsuccessful in generating team cohesion to maximise the strengths of the group available to them.
What we lack is an ego and individual that transmits a certain belief that can lift and carry the squad through in each game, the same sort of impact that Bale has given Wales.
their are no standouts for me in both the Scotland and England setups
I think we should stop chasing and use these fixtures only for development only.
The senior squad should be made up of our most promising youngsters in the game. get them introduced sooner.
Our player development must also be matched with coaching and forward thinking tactics.
lastly, i think it's time to scrap hampden and allow the fixtures to be played at parkhead and ibrox were atmosphere is famously talked about.
value for money, i don't think hampden has delivered
Better going to Easterhouse, mate, that's where the cafe/bistro culture is.

Bit off topic, I'm moving up to Paisley soon from Essex and with football matches will be looking at either watching Rangers or St Mirren, never liked the other lot.
Just wondering what are ticket prices like?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Might as well stay in Essex
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I would agree but work life changes result me in going to Paisley for a couple of years ðŸ˜
Chris Martin on the pitch. Scotland's most prolific on the bench. Nuff said.

Strachan was very pleased with Chris Martin
No Laudy, he said he liked Coldplay
And what's with the . Are you happy to see your country suffer rather than have a Celtic player on the pitch?

I do have some Scottish heritage to me, can I hide behind that?

You'll not fit in among the bears then. They ache - ache - to be English. Every single one of them.
Except Zach.

Indeed Pointy. I do hear tell that Curly has applied to change his name to Cyril.
