It's a huge blow, but we're only two games in.
Stranger things have happened.. England only beat Malta 2-0 at home and in another group Wales drew at home to Georgia.
A point away to Slovakia is still a good point but we absolutely have to win our home games from here on out now.

We don't have many other options at RB but I think the boy Paterson is really poor.
He lost at least 50% of his defensive headers on Saturday and was easily skinned on the deck a few times.
People seem to be talking him up but I don't get it. He's a big lad but he has no real pace and is below average defensively.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
BBC Sport have a wee game thing where you can pick your own starting XI for Scotland. I had Tierney at RB.
I know he hasn't played that position before but he can't be any worse there than any of our current RB's.
Juego, I think he's the best we have in that position.
He's not spectacular but I do like him and think he will get better.
Can look very naïve at times though I must admit.
Juke, it's more than a blow, it's a home game against a side that will most likely lose away to every other team.
We made them look comfortable on the ball
Result and performance were disgraceful
The only positive to come out of it was Slovakia losing again
Unbelievably we are still ahead of them in the race for 2nd place.
I had Tierney at RB.
I'll gladly have Strachan before you then
Tierney can be average with the ball on his left never mind his right ffs Juke
FFS Juke
I really rate Tierney but he is very very one footed. It's not like a winger where they can cut inside onto their good foot a la Roberts
A full backs job is defence and making sure the ball is safe. Cutting inside is one of the worst things a full back can do.
Paterson was ok. I don't think he was helped by having Hanley or Martin inside him.
He will come good. Like Tierney you can see what he is good at.

cant even be bothered wumming tbh
its a shocking result, and its no more than deserved when u pick a guy that hasnt scored all season over a guy that scores for fun.
its a joke, an absolute joke.
i remember why i wanted rid of him at celtic now, he deliberatly does these things to be stubborn.
telling the players its not must win, and that we dont have any great players among them, defeatist attitude.
punt him.

u forget he doesnt know how to use footballers.
graveson, jarosik, donati.
nah, need dig, dig dig dig.
fvck off with that man, barry f...ing bannan.
Bannan can be good on the ball but he wasn't effective with it on Saturday.
Darren Fletcher is not what you need when playing against Lithuania.
It's ok though, he doesn't have tattoos so he should start the game....

I'd get it if he was performing and had been for a while but he doesn't. He is another Derek Riordan. Has ability but is a complete cvnt
the worry is, who do you get in?
people will be giving it "neilson" or "hartley"
f... that
go get someone half decent ffs.

too much love of "dig" in this country, a country that loved "big elvis" steven pressley.
It's that bad Zico wants us to draft in ROI players.
