The journey mode is fun and addictive.
Pro clubs is absolute gash.
My pro is rated 89 yet he plays worse than my character in the journey who is rated 69.
Ratings mean naff all in clubs and clubs is the reason i buy fifa.
Journey is entertaining but only lasts for one season. I played as Hunter throughout rather than playing as the whole team just for something different, annoying how absolute garbage your ai team mates are at times.
Have started a career with Utd, gameplay has definately improved from 16, passing is quicker, graphics are unbelievable, some premier league stadiums are just class, Stokes ground particularly looks fantastic. I havent played online as yet, not really a fan of FUT.
Same as above The Journey is very good and a different addition to a football game.
For a FIFA game there is a steep learning curve I have found especially with defending, I would recommend getting to grips with it before venturing online as some of the better players will destroy you, as I found out.
I think Pro Clubs is good this year tbh..
Its good, but PES has been better gameplay wise in recent years
Is it worth getting a PS4 for - Nope.
It's good, best version I think for the last 5 years at least. Not imo a console seller though. If you like some of the other games on PS4 then yeh, seems you can grab one for a £150 which is a bargain.
Definitely not worth buying a PS4 for
I enjoy FIFA games but I'm not a massive football PlayStation/Xbox gamer
If you've got a load of mates that play then you're sorted
Nope.
Avoid it if you can. I unwisely bought it after being sucked in by the ads and marketing for 'The Journey'.
Now I don't believe I'm biased. I played fifa religiously for 15 years until last year when I switched to pro (as I felt it played better from the demo).
This years fifa just felt too clunky and mechanical. So I traded it in less than 24 hours after buying it. PES is so much more smoother and enjoyable. I think a balance between realism and fun has to be there, and for me PES ticks both boxes.
If you're worried about the team names and lack of licences, then a quick download of a file from any PES fan site and a 5 minute import will have you up and running.
It's PES for me all the way. Just my two cents like.

Not all heroes where capes!
Shoutout to the people who make the teams etc for all of us
Instead of getting fifa for the console, just get the new fifa mobile game. It's free and looks pretty good tbh.
I like it. And I traded fifa 16 for Pes last year, that's how awful I found it.
I'm yet to play this years Pes, when I do I'll make an article about the two
I did the imports last year on PES but still had to edit the names and the colors of the shirt numbers etc. Also had to go into a saved folder and select each clubs badge and add it to each team individually.
Took a good few hours getting everything done tbh.
Used to just be able to download a complete 'save' and stick it over the top of my save, on the old xbox etc.
Is it like it used to be now?

Yeah its all straight forward this time. Start the game, go to edit data, import the file and go make a cup of tea and when you're back it'll all be done.
There's load of vids online on how to do it

Nope - it was like that last time
This time much better, however do 20 teams at a time on PS4, doing more can sometimes crash the system

Bayern used to be on it but classed under 'other leagues' as they didn't have the German league teams (which was poor in its self).
Are they not on it at all this year
Im really enjoying FIFA 17 , the passing is great graphics are sharp also.
I think the way you can also counter attack is sweet.
Pes last year was fantastic compered to fifa but this year imo is a tie.
Yeah I must say that I really like this year's FIFA and its the best for some time, however PES is twice the game IMO.
Been playing FIFA for the past week and have enjoyed it, but put on PES last night for the first time in a while and found it was much more smoother, polished, realistic and more enjoyable...
The thing is though is FIFA has much better game modes than PES, but gameplay wise PES wins hands down!
