I think some bears owe some of us Tims an apology.

When we didn't take to WGS being Celtic manager, we were told it was because he wasn't a Celtic man.

As I kept trying to explain at the time, you have no idea how unbearably annoying WGS is until he is the manager of your team. The little quips, the refusal to acknowledge that someone who has never played the game can still have an opinion on it.

And worst of all the bloody mindedness that sees him self destruct his own team just to teach us a lesson. It was like when we started getting on Strachan's back for playing Telfer or Caldwell, or whoever else it was that month, you just knew that we were making those players undroppable in Strachan's eye. He enjoys having contrary unpopular views (rich coming from me, but I would also be a terrible manager).

Now I hope those Bears who couldn't understand what reason we could possibly have had other than not being Celtic minded for not taking to WGS. It's impossible to explain to an outsider just how frustrating it is to have him as manager.
