I'm sure they don't. But it's not just down to the Germans, what deal we end up with. There's another countries who will all have their say.

You don't think that the eu's biggest economy will have vested interests and aply political pressure to the other member states about future trade deals with Great Britain?

Not sure you understand how much money is envisioned here.

We buy 20 % of Germanies entire auto exports, what about the effect on French exports with their economy significantly more fragile, italies and Spain's if we stop buying and trading with them.

I'm not saying it won't be complicated but you don't take a financial hit like that without making compromises.

Thought the EU was this dictatorial cabal with only their best interests in mind. Why would they care about one country over the other 26? That was one of the main arguments put forward by the Leave campaign.

Or have they turned over a new leaf since the vote?

quite simply because we are the wealthiest EU country after Germany and they know that when we leave they will be financially propping up the other EU countries without our help

And no they aren't violent or anti social stop being a Johnson.

They have contributed more through difficult and racist times than anyone else I know I respect them both, they welcomed me into their home and family with open arms.
