The fact that we can compete in the sub-continent, notwithstanding our dirth of spin options, shows just what a weapon it is to have 4 genuine test all rounders in the team.

There's always been one thread, but one person in particular decided to abuse me so I filtered him. Which is totally reasonable. Then a couple of others asked me to unfilter him, but he said he'd just abuse me again anyway. So you get people like A49 and Kash, and others, who wanted new threads to be all inclusive (except for including me!).

They can have the wumming threads. Not many contributors on my threads, but mostly knowledgeable stuff.

I'd rather take quality over quantity any day of the week.

Ali n Rashid are not up to international test standard spin bowlers. U need bowlers like Ashwin or Shah so can't blame Cook much. However if England gets one wicket then u never know as Bengis are not so mentally strong to deal the pressure! No matter what it's an amazing test match. Credit to both teams!

Bangas are going to win this at a canter, the pitch is too slow, they have an age to play their shots against the spinning ball.
