Anyone think that not having a 'natural' goalscorer on the pitch contributes towards not being able to kill these kind of games off?
Certainly food for thought term but Sturridge being that natural goal scorer (lazy but clinical) slows us right down
I wanted to se changes around 65 or so we'd dropped the intensity and think Studge or Origi and Wij should have come on then, either striker would have been a good option when we had the few breaks towards the end

Trouble is as soon as Studge comes on the work rate drops, and the passing is not quite a fluid.
I honestly think Ings deserves a chance, he's been scoring for fun in the the ressies.
Nah Can needs to learn how to shoot.
Wijnaldum has a better shot on him, and is really the better player.

Yeah, Ings could really offer us something. I said the other day he could have made a big difference against United. He's got to get a chance soon, surely?
I think Ings chance will come, maybe on Wednesday, he will be on the bench at least I'm sure.
Nice of Hendo to get himself banned for that game with a bit of dissent, a game he may well have been rested for anyway. Good thinking.
We need to give players a game and not risk anyone on Tuesday, Origi, Ings,Lucas, Sturridge to name a few all need a good 70 mins at least
But think Studge is getting some unfair stick. He's just going through a bad patch. If he gets one, the goals will flow. I think he could still have a part to play if we're to have a successful season.
Term
Hoping Sturridge gets a start midweek against Spurs and we can see the best of him.
Good win for us, stupid scoreline in the end given our complete dominance of the game and very flattering for West Brom. 4-0 would have been more representative. Three points all the same though, a great day for us with the other results.
Yeah Neo, almost the same old story for us with the exception being that we won the game
West Brom always hang in there.
Pretty unusual for a Pulis team to get hammered.
Palace up next in the Prem, could be a good time to play them as they have lost form with two defeats on the spin after a mini revival.

Last season before Palace away people kept going on about the Bolasie factor.
We have won there the last two visits.
