Hmm I would say its on the lower side, would like to break £20m for him.
Still can't believe we let Nacer go, and for so little.

Honestly think we let Chadli go out of love.
Poch confirmed he wanted to keep him in the squad but Chadli wanted more game time after missing the euros.
Chadli also said lukaku gave him a great report on WBA as a club which made his mind up.
Fee was ridiculously low though for a proven goal scorer
Funny that he took Lukaku's advice as it was under totally different managers with quite a different squad.
Could have loaned Nacer out for 6 months at least, given him some gametime to prove himself and get match sharp (something he never got after his dad died). He wouldn't do any worse than Lamela has been of late thats for sure.
tottally agree & TBH think he'd got more game time this season anyway.
I thought Nacer looked much better up top than Son ever has as well. Oh well.
I just hope we sign someone with real creative quality in January/next summer. Isco would be the dream obviously.

Isco for right now & Coric for the coming years would be my dream
Anyway good article and discussion a change from all the shiet wumfest that's happening these days
Yeah Chadli had to go really for his own sake, too good to be sat on the bench, and not quite consistent enough to be a starter for us. I'd have loved him to have stayed but you can understand why he didn't.
As I've said before though, I'm surprised that he wasn't snapped up by a more ambitious club.

Never heard of Coric before tbh. Can't work out who I would want to join in midfield in our team.

Yeh the likes of the Saints and even Everton certainly missed a trick. Will do more than big money signings Boufal and Bolasie.
Coric would be better than Isco in my opinion, he is younger and would buy more readily into Poch's methods.

Long term certainly but as a straight impact I'm not so sure.
Although having both would be extremely good
Yeah they are the exact two clubs that I thought of as well Edin, though maybe we wouldn't have wanted to sell to Everton.
No disrespect to west brom, but he is a level above them. But if he's happy then great
"Even if Tottenham were on top of the league, I would not regret my transfer," he said.
"They believe in me at Schalke. I made this decision, and a few defeats won't change anything.
"We worked hard enough, in every match, in every training session. But we've made mistakes and we need to cut them out.
"But we fight and I believe that's also the reason that the fans support us.
"I don't know that from England. If you lose there, nobody supports you in the stadium."]
------------------------
These are fair comments, our fans in particular are terrible.
I wouldn't agree, we are far too quick to get on players backs, but our away support is exceptional and we are one of the few top 6 teams who still sing week in, week out.
What Edin said plus we do support players that show effort.
Soldado is the biggest example who lets be honest was a complete flop yet fans stuck behind him
Tbf, our fans were uncharacteristically exceptional towards Soldado

We was waiting about a decade for a new striker to be far
I'm fed up with these articles on Chadli and Bentaleb!
Chadli and Bentaleb both wanted to leave as he wouldn't be guarenteed football, Poch didn't want them to leave but they wanted to.
Poch doesn't keep players around that don't want to stay so they were sold.
This is all common knowledge if you bother to go on google.
I'm sorry Doos. Currently Bentaleb is contracted for our team so it is relevant.
Shouldn't you stick to your Football Manager assessment of players instead? I would love to hear again how we missed out so badly on superstar Abel Hernandez
To be fair to Abel Hernandez, he was tipped as someone to watch out for in 2011 by FourFourTwo mag....
look like modric,
Unfortunately we need a squad capable of keeping us in the upper echelons of the premier league. Imagine poch retires tomorrow. We have a great 10 (I don't include lamela) thin squad suitable to play one way.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I have been saying this same point over & over but get slated for it every time. But it's so true. Lamela is a hindrance to the potential great team we could have.
LLM, what does Lamela do in training to warrant his continued starting spot - and to stay on the pitch for 90 mins almost every league game?

What has assessment of player or Hernandez got to do with Chadli and Bentaleb wanting out of the club, scraping the barrel there with something irrelevant
You come onto an article criticising it, unfairly, about a player who is still a Tottenham player, albeit on loan.
Lord some holier than thou football opinion, whereas some of the nonsense you have come out with on this forum is laughable.
Yet an article about Bentaleb is too much
