tbf we should have been 3-0 up in the first half alone. Ozil and Oxo missed one on one chances against a very average keeper.

Sunderland player was going wide and Kos was covering in behind cech.

In a season where we have a huge squad and we manage to progress nicely in the EFL cup which presents games for our fringe players.

Hope we at least make the semis of that competition for more game time.

Its not against the character of the man. If anything its because he is too nice. Its more that he does not see problems quickly enough which means its years before we see new players. That means we are always a few players short and no longer win titles and there is no progress. As there is no shortage of money its down to Wenger now. We knew the problems last summer. He did not change, we lost the league to Leicester City managed by Renieri (not some brilliant young manager but one who is as old as Wenger is). And he did the same this summer. We are lucky that Alexis has turned into such brilliant no.9. But that was not out of some plan or he would have been playing in that position last season. That leads to frustration.
