Italy I would have thought. Roma or Juve would be my guess unless he goes to Spain but I can't see Atletico wanting him and he cannot go to Barca or Real. Everything else there is a step down. Maybe Paris.

Slim
While I would love to see a player like Fab come to Leicester, I think that his wages would still be an issue even with Chelsea offering to pay part of them.

I also think that even now we are still not seen as a club to pull in the players of Fabregas' reputation. If he is allowed to move then you can be sure that there will be a number of top clubs around Europe looking at him, and they will also have the CL to offer him.
Unfortunately that would push us down the list, but having CR here and not having to leave the country may be positive I would still think that teams such as Liverpool, Spurs, in this country would be sniffing around.

So while I would love to see it, this is about as likely as Arro resurfacing to admit his stadium expansion fact was bull....shete!!

Can't see Spurs and LFC coming in for him as I don't think he would fit the system. I also think Leicester could pay his wages considering how much they pay Vardy and Mahrez. Could be good in a counter attacking team like LCFC though. He can pass a ball that's for sure.

I know we are down the pecking order, but i reckon it would be a great fit for all parties.

How does Pep feel about him? never know we could go for him then ditch Fernando.

Where exactly would you play him without rearranging our whole approach though? In the number 10 role? In a midfield 2 with Drinkwater? And this is if he even wanted to come in the first place, which I'm 99% certain he wouldn't.
I can't see it myself.

Judging by the way he used him at Barca Pep doesn't like him in midfield

I think we're always looking for a midfield 2 unless someone is going to take the Okazaki role. I'm not sure he's disciplined enough to pay there, he never looked sound when playing the holding role. Would be more interested in Schweinsteiger, admittedly he's not got the legs he once had but his positioning is great and if Man U can get him match fit he'd essentially be coming into the season fresh.

To be honest t he is being treated by Jose I would like to see us go in for Morgan Schneiderlin in the January window.
Always strikes me as a quality player and I think he would fit into our midfield very well, and the added advantage of PL experience already.

How old is Schneiderlin now? I'd be pretty happy with that as a signing as long as he's not over the hill.

I think that's quite pertinent though as, and I may be wrong, there is no-one in the squad who can do what Drinkwater can???

Dunge
He is only 26, great player to get in in my humble opinion

Definitely worth targeting then. He was great for Southampton and I could imagine him doing a similar job here.

I think a midfield 2 of Schneiderlin and DD would be quite interesting and exciting to watch.

Robbing Hoody - Certainly he wouldn't be brought in to replace Drinkwater, who's one of the first names on the team sheet right now and seems to start every match regardless of travel or fitness. But the two players around him - either Amartey or King next to him or Okazaki in front of him recently - are the kind of players who are doing the dirty work rather than controlling and illuminating the game like Fabregas would want to. I can't imagine Fabregas would be content to (or arguably be able to) close down, defend and force opponents wide for long periods week after week.

Cescpit would balk at the prospect. He would be more suited to Swansea or The Spanners

He doesn't wanna leave London. Could see him at West Ham as they seem to have more money than sense. Kinda sad to see how his career panned out, at Arsenal he has it all and looked like he was going to become one of the world's greatest

Rubbish in the second half of the season at both Barca and Chelsea, therefore not the type of player we need IMO.

I really rate Fabregas but he only fits in certain systems and ours is not one of them.

Schneiderlin would be class but highly unlikely. He'd be more likely to go to a Spurs or Everton than us.
