If he can stay for one more year then wee Dembele will be 15 and ready for the first team

You must be making at least £10M from gate receipts and hospitality etc. That's probably more than enough to ensure you top your one team league for years to come. You also get a bit of cash for getting points. If you can sneak into the Europa league, you'll be laughing even more.

In terms of what? How would you lose your clubs soul, rangers and celtic are big clubs with great history but just with no platform to promote themselves.

How would moving to the PL lose the soul of the club more than being a club who just wants to qualify for the CL just for the money and to add up the numbers?

we are a scottish club and we should play in scotland.

we need the scottish league to be more lucrative tbh

Because they would be moving purely to the finances.

We'd end up after a few seasons muddling around anywhere between 4th - 12th and never really having a shot at the top.

We love our CL nights or Europa nights. They'd be gone. All for more money and to be just one of anchaisng pack.

Tremendous returns.

That's why the groups is becoming the promised land for teams from provincial leagues. Even if you get there and lose 6 games.

The finances in football are totally skewed but suppose that only matters when you're not getting a slice of the pie.
