Think they shut the entry to station from main road
This is why the club have sold tickets cheaper than they otherwise would....getting to and from Wembley, midweek, is a total ball ache. Those who do not live locally will be lucky to get home before 11pm and those like me in Kent will not get home before 1230. 1pm if i get tanked up and walk from the station to my home at the end of the night. (not going to tonights game though )

See its the opposite for me. I don't get home from WHL until well after midnight and I live in Berks.
Wembley is a little easier than WHL for me.

You need a manager like me. I have told the Spurs supporter in my team who is going tonight and lives in the sticks (relatively speaking) that he can work from home tomorrow so he doesn't have to leave a few minutes early.

Work from home is fine for some but if frinstance one is a swimming pool life guard then it could be a tad tricky.

I'm only Six stops north west of Wembley, by the sound of the queue for the station it will probably take me just as long as it does to get home from the lane. I might walk to Preston road station. Long walk for the nipper though.
there are loads of short cuts out of Wembley towards Wembley park station to avoids you having to stand there like the 50k lemons who were doing it last time
couldn't help but laugh watching them all
So are all entrances to the station open Chronic?
I didn't go back through the station (looked like only the front entrance was open at a glance), but I did take a short cut to totally miss the hoards of people standing about on Wembley way being guarded by police.
That's alright, Ill walk around by the triangle then. Cheers
From what I saw once you are in Wembley Way there is no way out, it was all fenced off.

I work in North Wembley and could leave my car here and get the Bakerloo one stop but I need beer for my vocal chords.

incorrect.
Out of Wembley into the high road left into Ealing road carry on to the bottom Alperton station on the right Piccadilly line into central London, half hour walk but better than the cattle run in Wembley way.

Make life easy for yourself. Use the Chiltern over ground service to Paddington. Took me 10 minutes with a 10 minute queue to get on last CL game. You can also use your Oyster card which is a major plus for me.
same great suggestions. I think you should all use those options and leave the met line clear for me <Laugh>
