What did Pogba actually do at juve with the exception of a couple of long range shots? His stats are pretty average

He done a couple nice drives from midfield taking it past a couple people, and yes, a couple long range strikes, one very late on. But in the main, not much of note.

He is not worth more than KDB- simple as that really.
----------------------------------------------------------------------nail on head.
Pogba- how much is he worth?
Oh I'd say approx. £5-3/6 (pre decimilisation)

i think in his final season he got into double figures for both goals and assists, which is very impressive from midfield.
on the other hand that was for the dominant team in a modest league, and alli managed that last year in his first PL season.
i said in the summer that pogba was probably worth c.£50m, and if he can get to that level we'll all be happy.
but i do hope that is the last i ever hear of the "he's a young player so we can always sell him on at a profit in future argument"...something i have heard of anderson, shaw, martial, pogba etc etc.
if you overpay for a player you tend not to get your money back, it's quite a simple rule.
Haha I love how people are now trying to rewrite what he achieved at Juve. He was Fergie's biggest mistake for 3 years.

I think alot of people, myself included stated similar things when you was in to buy him before the ridiculous fee was announced.
To be fair a think most with any sense knew that pogba is not worth anything like the fee. A luxury player made to look good by having superb midfielders around him in a system that suited for juve. Hardly been outstanding for France, and whilst early (he needs time) at United, have my doubts he will ever be worth anything like the outlay.
Never saw a game in which I thought he looked amazingly talented. Has some good attributes which he occasionally showcases, but nothing that really caught my attention.
Depends how you judge him. In terms of his footballing ability and how he has played, he barely reaches 1/3 of his price, but from, a business perspective, probably.
United ended up paying £30m for the player, £25m+ for his agent, probably another £25m+ for his contract and then the other £10m+ for branding image and to meet Juve's valuation of him.
Juventus will be laughing there though.
£25 million in his contract? surely that was not included in the £90 mill. That you will pay on top over the years.
No, what I'm saying is United will have had to buy out his contract. Lets say he earned £80,000 per week and had 18 months left to run on his current deal, United would have to pay the total amount of what is left on his current contract. So in this case it would be £5.76m.
Obviously I don't know the nail on figures, but hopefully you get it. It probably wasn't £25m for his contract, I wasn't being literal. The point being some of the £90m+ will have been buying out his current contract at Juve which I doubt was cheap.
ah makes sense, not sure if it works like that but makes sense
Only the clubs will know. I'm only second guessing that would the case for the outrageous fee though.
