No problem and welcome to JA606, I'm sure your insight on the players will be appreciated by the Spurs fans on here, it seems like you guys put out a fairly strong team
OP,
You can edit articles.
Hi sandro, what position did Falque play in? I've heard he's a winger but he's down as a forward on the UEFA squad list
evening Sandro - thanks for the report.
what was the final score?
Cheers
easy bale, played wide right but didnt hold position drifted inside alot, 2 good feet looks a bit of a player to be fair, not sure on the workrate but hopefully that will come
sandro - I just assumed you were pumped up by all the match action
From the club's report it sounded like the 2 Spaniards linked up well for the goals.
I liked the look of Carroll as a player from the Europa game v Hearts. Always finding space, looking for the ball and a good range of passing and distribution. He strikes me as our very own Ratboy but needs to add some weight as you say.
hey bubbles, ive heard your a bit of a legend on here lol, who chelsea got this weekend? What u think of mata, my mate has season ticket and was raving about him
OP - Thanks for that - I was following the game via the OS site on this thread, http://ja606.co.uk/articles/viewArticle/35426
Good to know that someone went
Did Ryan Fredericks look any good? I know very little about him but thought he looked reasonable against Hearts. Glad to hear Carroll is looking good. Was really impressed by him against Hearts.
Does anyone know why Coulibaby (think thats how it spelt) wasn't playing?
Alnwick still at the club beggars belief.
yeah fredicks played right back, looked good going forward but left alot of space and made life very diffcult for our centre halfs, to be fair he didnt have much protection in front of him, looks really young think hes 18 but looks a little lightweight maybe
sandro
We've got Sunderland away and I'll be going
I think Mata will be an excellent signing and will hopefully allow us to push United all the way this season, most exciting signing we've had in a while IMO
Who did you think was the standout player tonight for Spurs?
What is it with Spurs attracting attacking full backs who can't defend. Thanks for the info Sandro
Interesting Frederiks played right back - like Townsend playing left back against Hearts. I guess after the whole Bale scenario Harry's keen on mixing it up
yeah i think people talking up city and utd may help chelsea this year, falque looks to have alot of talent and enjoyed himself but for me carrol was mom
That Carrol looked impressive for you against Hearts, shame he missed the pen though.
it was h kane who missed pen, carrol put him through lovely ball, i like him just worry if physically he will have enough
Nice article, you got value for money with all the goals mate Sure you were wondering wtf was going on after just a few minutes 2-0 down
Spurs' 3 2nd half goals can be seen here. http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/final-spurs-goals-kettering-town-15378491/
Bostock and Kane really look like the only 2 'physically' mature enough to make the step up to the senior team. The rest of the guys look very slim and slight.
Really ? I wouldn't say Horacio Christain Olaya was slim and slight.
Only going by the video posted Spurcat, unfortunately being in Belfast I don't get to see these youngsters in action too much.
