You wont have much evidence of him being good, bad or indifferent with transfers at Chelsea though, will you.
Jose asks for 'player X', the Chelsea board goes out and signs 'player Y' - the non-union Mexican equivalent of what he wanted.
How often did Chelsea sign a player that Mourinho wanted?
So Jose can't make use of what he has? You're talking about replacing a large amount of the team... again. So wasteful.

He does lack pace, but can compensate with technical skills and intelligence. Basically the opposite of Shaw who is very one dimensional in attack, and cannot cross to save his life. That said, although I don't think Shaw has it in him to get any better skills or intelligence, we may not have seen the best of him yet.
Shaw needs to cut down on the pies for a start.The great lump.

The man has won everything in European club football. You don't just lose that overnight. Find me a manager in history who has.
And you're bang on about stability. It's the most important thing we need right now.
Doesn't surprise me.
Give him time to sort the squad and get what he wants. If we need to take 1 step back to go 3 steps forward, so be it.
We have a lot of deadwood in our squad that needs to be moved on, and I wouldn't be sad to see any of those players moved on. Although I do feel Schneiderlin hasn't really been given a fair crack at things. Also people saying to offload Blind are nuts, very underrated and versatile player.
