The OP has way to much time at his disposal.
Soft pen though.

Oh well?
How about next time we get a freekick we can float in, we instruct a few players to be offside to put the defenders off?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We try that but Eriksen's delivery is rarely up to scratch
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Would of got an assist yesterday if Son didn't duck out the way for the one that hit post
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes that's true. Speaking of which, wtf was he doing when Cech slipped over? Have to risk being clattered in pursuit of a goal ffs
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wimped out didn't he
No chance Lamela wouldn't have gone in on that tackle
Soft pen, soft result for soft Spurs.
Mind the gap

Lamela would have taken a booking there knowing that there was a chance for a goal there, so he should do. Poor from Son

Alan Shearer was even getting angry about the offside goal on MOTD.
He was completely right as well.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That was nothing compared to Rio on BT sport when he was talking to Howard Webb after the match
Dembele was tripped, clear as day! He didnt make massive thing about it, but what probably makes it look soft is that he was probably already going over. That doesnt mean that Kos didnt foul him though. Deserved penalty. Seen a lot softer ones given. What makes this more clear cut for me is that it is a tackle with the foot. The ones which are really debatable for me are the ones where a player feels hands on him and then his legs give way.....I think Firminho got one like that this season which seemed really soft.
The offside law is a bit of a joke. Wimmer had to defend that and the players he was defending it from were all offside. They are active because if he doesnt deal with it the ball lands at their feet/head.
Seems harsh on defenders who are now expected to make a judgement about whether the person they are marking is off side before deciding whether to clear it or no. They should be helped by the linesman....but just image if that goal was ruled out, the little goooonies would have been wetting their pants and crying at the ref/lino, pretty much like they were for a lot of the game
My only surprise is Wenger actually saw the incident

WHen they get a goal from open play, one dimentional Spurs will release a box set!
Firmino was gifted a penalty at Swansea, he felt a hand on his back and proceeded to kick the ground and his standing foot before pirouetting himself to the floor. His dive against Watford was also very lame.
The Spurs penalties have all been just that, clear contact with each, its not like we have been given a penalty when there was clearly no contact, like what some other clubs regularly enjoy.
As a neutral it was a penalty all day long
It was soft but still a definite penalty.
