Kneerash if you continue to throw insults at me, then it will be a sad cheerio to you. I quite like you, but you do tend to get involved far too much on Spurs articles. As I said this article in no way mentions Liverpool, other than the fact they were one of the teams that have failed to beat Spurs this season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok fair enough Sandy apologies for the insults, no reason for them so I'll apologize.
Won't stop me commenting on Spurs articles though
Sandy on current form I would say Liverpool look good for the title. Chelsea look good too. Hopefully we can sort ourselves out and go on a winning run but its early days.
In fairness though it is better to have a bad patch consist of draws rather than the Arsenal method of a month of defeats.
I'm watching the mother of all drills drilling on the Warmington House WHL feed on the site. Its huge! The re-bar is waiting to go in and the cement pump line is like a curled up snake waiting to strike. I find the live feeds very cathartic….

It is early days, and Spurs are not a million miles of the top, let alone the top four. I just don`t get why opposition fans think drawing games that also take points of your rivals is a bad thing, especially with an understrength side. The wins will come I have no doubt.
The draws are annoying, but in reality there are only 1 maybe two that represent poor results.
Spurs havent really hit great form this season. We've been disrupted by injuries to key players and 1 or 2 are yet to find top form (Eriksen ), so to avoid defeat to keep getting points on the board and to stay in contact with the top 4 is fine by me.
Other teams will have dips....City are having one. In the last 5 games we have picked up more points than them despite 4 draws.
I think yesterdays performance and result, and the return of Kane will do a lot of good for us. After the international break it is expected to have Lamela, Aldiweireld and Sissoko back, and hopefully Alli back soon after.

It's the draws in games you should be winning I guess Sandy, I do agree a point away at Arsenal is always a good result, a point away at any rival is good, I'd take a point at united and everton away every year before a ball was kicked if offered.
There's so many games left to play that there will be plenty of ups and downs for all clubs involved.
Devon on eriksen's form, do you think Kane being out is a part of it? Like the 3 behind the striker really do depend on having a striker there who moves well, get's into the correct positions etc.
I thought Eriksen was decent enough yday without being great, and thought Kane being on the pitch was the main reason for this.
Like when we lost Suarez and then Studge was injured and we were relying on fecking Ballotelli you could see the impact it had on couthino for example, he was used to having great movement infront of him, once that was taken away he struggled.

That is what I was alluding to Kneerash, other than perhaps at Bournemouth, where Spurs won 6-1 last year and most of the other top teams I would expect to win there, all the other draws were not too bad in the context of the season. Every team has dropped some silly points this season, so Spurs drawing a few games is hardly damaging their push for a top four position at the very least. Still all to play for.
Anyway catch up with you lot later. Things to do now. Like the afternoon knap.

Kane being on the pitch will help the whole team, no doubt.
But Eriksen's form goes way beyond having decent options ahead of him.
For me he is being too safe too often and when he does try something a bit more 'brave' it is either ill considered/poor decision making or executed badly.
But on top of that he is also failing to deliver quality when needed. There have been times when we have been breaking, with movement ahead of him and his through ball to release the runner has been 'easy' for someone of his ability and he has barely found the same half of the pitch as the runner. Really bad. Yesterday when under a bit of pressure we won the ball back and really, with a bit of time, any player should be able to play a ball over the FB/CB into the corner for the striker to chase, but he put is straight to the keeper.
What annoys me most is he is one of the few that had the summer off. He should have hit the ground running, but actually he's barely started playing
Yawn. Mousers and chaaavs all over each and every article. All crawling out from under their rocks, we didn't hear from the glory hunting plastic feckers all last season, now they are doing ok they're commenting on everything. Cants
Eriksen suffers a little from what Ozil did at Arsenal.
You can have the best vision and passing in the world, but can only do so much if the only options to you are Walker/Rose out wide, Lamela about 2 feet away from you and Jansenn having a wrestle with the CB.

Alright la
Kane is a class act and im pretty sure we will be turning some of these draws into wins once he gets back amongst the goals.
Some of the Liverpool fans are remarking that we drew a lot of games with Kane in our side last year, thats true but statistically were even better defensively this season and of course haven't lost yet in the league.
Pool have no Europe and no injuries to key players, they have beaten an injury ravaged Arsenal and a Chelsea team in defensive disarray, they had to rely on `Gifted Penalty` to beat a Swansea team that is probably going down and had the referee to thank once again against Palace. A couple of fortunate draws against Spurs and United and the rest of the teams they have played are relegation candidates, whom they should be beating.
Of course, the media will go overboard with talk of title challenges etc, but when you look at it closely I don`t get the hype.
Its a marathon not a sprint, yes Pool are flying in top gear at the moment but they have everything in their favour at present. They will fall away second half of the season when the big clubs start to hit top form.

Not sure why everybody is getting in a tizzy over Spurs drawing with Liverpool, Everton, Arsenal, and last season`s Prem winners Leicester, taking points of your possible rivals for a top four position is no bad thing. A point at WBA is not to shabby either, the only place possibly where Spurs would have been expected to get more than a draw was at Bournemouth. Sometimes you have to analysis the whole instead of just saying too many draws. There will be plenty of games where Spurs will pick up three points.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Strange you don't mention your draws against WBA and Bournemouth.
Surely any team with title challenging credentials should be dispatching these teams with ease?
