Pakistans stay at the top of the test rankings reminds me a bit of Spurs' stay at the top of the premier league last season.

Pakistan just did what every other cricket nation does outside there comfort zone. We did well in England but for some reason England did not prepare any green top wickets for us which made it a more evenish contest.

As for Liverpool, these injuries have come at a very bad time.

posted on 29/11/16

That's a good point, but the manner in which they are losing is reminiscent of Indias 4-0 drubbing against India, showing little or now fight.

Coutinho's injury is no doubt a massive blow for you guys, but still see you coping well despite these injuries

coutiho is huge, but the december fixture list isent all that bad.

But considering the fact that we are scoring form al over, we shoudl still be able to cope.

Need Lallana back.

The part I'm dreading is when Mane goes to the ACON and Coutinho is still out.

We are being linked, once again, to that young Dortmund lad Pulisic

We do need to strengthen.

On a bright note, Origi is looking good. I'd pick him ahead of Sturridge right now.

Pakistan lose and Liverpool nick a victory over Leeds after getting battered most of the game.. sport can be feking annoying

posted on 29/11/16

Leeds had a good 10 mins and that's about it. Should have taken your chances.

10 mins?? ... what game were you watching kash.

I can not believe Pakistan had nearly 3 years without playing outside Asia, from Spetember 2013 to June 2016 all their test matches were inside Asia (correct me if I'm wrong).

The scheduling is really poor. Yes, Pakistan reached number 1 but this side is nowhere near the Imran Khan Pakistan side that were number 1 in the late
80s.

Is there a test to check if he can bat properly?

Pakistan vs Australia will be televised on BT Sports why are they ruining everything for. I used to have BT Sports but got rid of it in September due to prices all going up and having a better deal with Sky Broadband. Ever since I've got rid of it they seem to be showing everything and at the moment most Arsenal games have been televised on there as well! talk about karma.

posted on 14/12/16

Fek that Kash, think I'll just be up for second and 3rd session - if we bat first we'll be about 25-2 after first session anyway

A14, Kash, No Wonder

Thought I might join in to add a bit of balance to comments for the series starting today.

After a poor start to the summer, a new-look aussie team bounced back with a good win in Adelaide and offers renewed hope for the home supporters.

The day/night formula has proved popular and a good crowd should be in on a warm night in Brisbane.

After completing a whitewash in UAE last time round, Misbah-ul-Haq says Pakistan are confident of winning in Aus for the first time in 21 years but Steve Smith says his new boys wont carry the scars of that loss and are looking to regain some pride in the baggy green. It is a good opportunity for some young players to establish themselves in the side.

Selectors are looking at picking an all pace attack at the expense of Nathan Lyon who has a better strike rate at the Gabba than Shane Warne. An announcement will be made closer to the start of play.

Here's to a good series .

PS TTGM, in Monk we trust

We have no excuses now. Been in NZ and now spent a couple of weeks in Australia. If Australia are preparing seaming tracks then we will lose via a whitewash.

I'm so scared does anyone know of any decent Cricket streams to watch the game as I no longer have BT sport? I'll try and watch the last session at least
