You should be confident, Wenger is José's biitch
It's funny we always go to old Trafford with an injury hit squad
Jenkinson is fine, he's an average player but as long as he gets a bit of protection then he should be able to do a job.
Holding and Mustafi both have a fair amount of experience at RB - Coq shouldn't even be thought about at RB.

Why's that?
Because you don't believe Coq's competent at RB, or do you think the former two are more suited?
Personally, I wouldn't be disrupting the kostafi partership any time soon, so mustafi shifting over is a big no no for me, and throwing Holding in there at old Trafford/against PSG is also not something I'd feel comfortable about.
Wouldn't want to move Coq. Moving Mustafi would be low down, but would be before Coq for me.
Happy to go with Jenks or Rob H tbh.
If we are going to be playing a weaker RB we need to consider who will play RW as well and how much they will support and protect the defence. Theo has improved his work rte but will he provide enough protection for the RB? Maybe Ramsey would be a better option as he will run up and down the pitch for the whole game.
Id possibly look to give Holding a game as he has looked good in his couple of appearances. Maybe move Mustafi across so he is between 2 more experienced defenders or just play him wide. I'd want to look at them in training before deciding but dont get that option.

Yeah fair enough, nobody else in the squad that operates like Coq does in MF, so defo not something I would attempt at Old Trafford

Ramsey has to play centrally or not at all for me, most especially in the supposed absence of Sanchez. With Giroud potentially starting up front, Ramsey shoehorned to the right would leave us too narrow in the final third, and easy to defend against imo. Force Jenko to provide width on that side much further upfield, not mentioning that he doesn't have bellerins recovery pace when moves break down.
We could go en vogue and go 3-4-3
------------------Cech--------------
----Mustafi--Koscielny--Holding----
Ramsey-----Xhaka-----Coq--------Ox
--------------------Ozil------------------
----------Walcott---Giroud---------
Would probably lose 8-2 though.
Ox as a wingback
Tbf that would go really well or really bad

Wow, that is quite a call he's made there. Particularly as Gibbs would seem to be ready made for a wing back role.

The wide players are attackers rather than wing backs
Jenkinson at RB will surfice. and tbh if Giroud is up top, it may not be a bad idea. Jenks is after all the only Arsenal player who can cross worth a dam. Theo runs deep, drops it back to an advanced/ing Jenkinson who can whip in a demon first time ball for Giroud to get his head on. Jenks much slower speed than Bellerin means Giroud would actually have enough time to get into the box to get on the end of the cross.
Not our usual way of playing but that could work for us for one goal for sure, possibly two. Utd won't be expecting that approach from Arsenal. I also think that is the approach that vies Giroud the best chance of scoring. We've always missed a trick not utilising his ability in the air. Given the two players out and replacements available, we will struggle breaking Utd down at home trying to play the same as if those two players were fit. So for the few games Giroud is starting, the team needs to change it up and play to his strengths. If we do that, we'll win.
