But England were really struggling at the time of his abrupt retirement. If he was dropped, then fine, but if you choose to start a series, if you are selected, then you should play for your country. If not, then don't go there in the first place.

He would've quite happily taken the glory of another Ashes victory, but the moment that went, he ran home.

Swann was and is a great. Not sure how any of this relates to the current series though as its often the away team that does a so called runner

Remember your first article, I welcomed you whereas someone else made fun of you. If you ever noticed, we Indian fans retaliated to abuse against us. We never start but you may not have noticed it. Also no one is perfect but you fail to acknowledge the racist, vile stuff here written by one specific English poster. I understand you may have just one perception of a country whereas you keep a blind eye on your own.

My regards to some English posters here who have seen the facts and reported his hateful comments.

Fair point that Just, but he's not the only guy to do that on an away tour... on a somewhat related point, let's not forget in 2011, some of the Indian players were accused of bottling it by their own media during the England tour when 9/10 players had to leave the tour due to injuries - some interpreted it as a general lack of fitness..
