Tea bag, hot water, stir and let brew, take out tea bag, add milk and sugar if needed.

Should know how much milk is needed by now in your life.

Biggest sin, milk first.

Second biggest sin, milk in with tea bag.

Best way to make a cuppa is to aggravate the bag!

So every morning I slap her @r5e and say what's for breakfast fatty!

50/50 split here, but I don't think it is that easy. You can easily accidentally add a bit too much milk. Then you will be left with some hot milky mess.

Put tea bag in. Spit into the cup. Add milk. Add bogey. Wipe the tea spoon between your ass-cheeks. Add luke warm water. Stir with the aforementioned tea spoon. Serve with tea bag still in the cup.

Noooooooo, you've got it all wrong.

Milk in first always.

Adding milk to boiling water will have the effect of souring the first drops of milk and tainting the tea.

It's also sad that people have lost the art of using a teapot and are putting those new-fangled teabag thingies directly into the cup.

Unfortunately I am not from the 70's and I don't have as much money as you to afford a teapot.

Sooo wrong.

Its a fact that you need boiling water to add to the tea bag to get the flavour out.

These are the rules.

Boiling water for tea not boiling for coffee. Boiling water makes the coffee bitter

And you don't add the milk to boiling water!!!!!

By the time the boiling water is in the cup, you stir it and let it brew the water isn't boiling into just hot!

I'm guessing that most on here are drinkers of something like PG Tips and Nescafé?

In which case you can hardly bastardise the stuff any further no matter what you put in first or for how long.

OK so we have established that milk should never go in the cup/mug first but taking the tea bag out seems to be a serious issue. I think people haven't grasped how important this is. It's our way of life.
