In the code there are only 4 different alphabets used.... And only 3 in each line👍

The Solution:
Recognising who the people represented was the most important part. I had to assume they were real people as there didn't seem to be enough information otherwise. Plus Ludwik was a bit obscure so hinted that it wasn't a generic name.

Noticed that the three lines all had the same number of characters between each gap and only four letters were used overall. Eventually clicked that it looked similar to Braille (Louis Braille). Seemed that it would hint the other two had also come up with some kind of code or translation. Then seemed clear that Samuel was Samuel Morse and after some digging the only notable Ludwik was Ludwik Zamenhof who came up with the Esperanto language.
Translate each letter into Morse as A is .- I is .. M is -- and N is -.
The dots represented dots in Braille and dash was a gap so each column of letters is a 2x3 section of dots and dashes to form a letter.
Then translated the sentence from Esperanto to English.

Neither had I, don't think it was necessary to know, Google's translator would have mostly likely worked out what language it was for you. Interesting to find a bit more about it though!

More of a artificially created language. Rather than words and grammar being built up over time Zamenhof came up with a whole language so that people of different but similar languages could communicate without having to learn too much.
